A Single Elimination format bracket will be hosted on Challonge.

8 seeds will be given to players ranked highest in the current OSC point standings (up to 32th place)

All games will be Bo3.

Map pool will be the current ladder pool. WCS veto system will be used.

Rules

Games will be played on AM server. Players can choose to play on another server if both players are agreeable to.

Players who have opponents who haven't shown up 15 minutes after the tournament starts will be given the choice to walkover or wait.

Players who failed to sign up in time but wish to play in the tournament may replace a person who did not show up only if his opponent allows.

Players may request for more time to show up prior to the tournament start. Be reasonable with the time you ask for though!

In the event of any disconnects, players can either use "Recover Game" under the Replays section or they can replay the game. The default option is to use "Recover Game".

No BM at all to anyone. WCS Handbook approved!

5th-8th: 2.5 OSC points each

On the topic of OSC points, here are more ways to earn OSC points in this tournament:

Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher than themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

I will double post to get attention.

I will need an admin for this tournament starting this week, for the first 30 minutes of the tournament. That would mean making the brackets as well. Hence, it is preferable if the admin does not participate in the tournament because there will be a conflict of interest when making the brackets (unless you're seeded top 8). If anyone is willing to help, please send me a PM to indicate your interest! I'll be choosing from there if I do get to choose. Or, all of you who indicated interest can join me in this as well.

Here's some bad news.

No, the tournament is still gonna go on. However, I'm going to change the time of the tournament to 6PM SGT, 9PM AEDT. Sorry if there's any inconvenience caused to any of you! There isn't anyone who indicated interest in helping me admin this. The only person who did was SouL, but he signed up as a player and I'd prefer if he gets a chance to rack up some OSC points instead of helping me admin for a while and not be able to play for the rest of the tournament.

Have a nice tournament tomorrow! Hope I don't need to work overtime so I can get back home in time for this!
