Greetings (potential) Legionaires,

I am pleased to announce that IXL are opening up our membership to BSGP players. Applications will only be open for a limited number.

Now does this sound you like you?

Plays ... scratch that.... Loves to play Starcraft 2
Is a legitimate Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum on SEA or NA server
Is committed to improving at Starcraft 2
Wants to enjoy the benefits of being part of an awesome clan like IXL
Is prepared to be active within the clan and Starcraft SEA community

What does that last point entail you ask? It means participating in clan events, helping with IXL tournament organising, training sessions, both IXL and sc2sea forum discussions and of course, being an active Starcraft 2 Player.

Being part of the IXL clan means that you're not just committed to the clan, you're committed to the community. As a lower level player, you will discover that the SC2 community (particularly SEA) is one of the most supportive gaming communities out there. You will find that other players in community will help you improve. Over time, you'll be paying the favour forward.

Fortunately, these obligations are also part of the benefits of IXL. It means you're part of a tightly knit group which will happily help one another grow as starcraft players, as gamers and collectively as a clan and more broadly as a gaming community.

Oh and it would be remiss of me not to mention the IXL Battle School (more on this later). Suffice to say, it's going to be freakin awesome.

After applications have closed and new members inducted, we'll be holding a new member meet and greet for Melbourne based players at Cydus LAN Café.

Now for the serious stuff. As an IXL clan member you would be expected to abide by minimum Code of Conduct. Having [IXL] in front of your SC2 account name means that the way you comport yourself within the SC2 and general gaming community reflects back on the clan. Please have a read of the IXL Code of Conduct before applying.

So if you're cool with all that, head over to the IXL website, sign up (if you haven't already). Your site sign up will be approved by an admin. You can then head over to the Recruitment page.

Yep well the plan and structure is in place. The name is a little misleading because it's more than just training/practicing/coaching. Just need more BSG players hence this thread.

Once we hit the desired number, all shall be revealed

Sweet..i don't think the name is misleading...you have to have a epic name of a school! In order to go into battle, you must first train/practice/be coached for you to be ready! So i think the name is good...lol

Hey guys, I used to play alot of SC2 but had to leave because of life issues, but am looking to get back into it I'm only in silver at the moment but I think you might remember me as IXLDrowN?

Recently joined as well, and I can second what Pynchon says, They are easy-going folks who seem more than happy to help a person practice and improve their builds.

I got more out of 5 learning games with clanmates on one afternoon/evening than I had out of a fortnight's worth of ladder games and practising builds vs ai. #laddermotivationbuilding
