Juggernaut if you would take some advice, spend your money elsewhere I don't think you have what it takes to become a top player and win in significant prized tournaments. Even if I am wrong there's not that much to be had by being a top SEA player. Buy a new car instead of a new PC or something.

If you want to burn some hours while your knee gets better and have a little certificate to show for it go do a pottery class. Something like this should never happen in SC2/esports, it's just not how it is - it's a professional and highly competitive arena trying to be taken seriously where you don't get a pat on the back just for participating in small, local community events.

A post in the hall of fame should be sufficient.

You should really have more than one reason to splash out on a gaming computer unless you're going to be playing SC2 at a really high level.
how is it silly? so you're saying all the trophies i have from when i played sports during childhood are silly? i should just recycle them. right? cos after all, they were obscure and were played against minor low level competition.

there's no difference between getting a trophy in a low level local cricket tournament and getting a trophy(piece of paper in this case) in a low level online game tournament. there's no different in eSports and 'real life' sports. look, maybe to you eSports don't mean anything, and soccer doesn't mean much to me, but go to brazil or europe and soccer is the most respected sport. to me and many others, eSports matter.

to be honest, i find it strange i need to argue this against an online gaming community. it would be like me walking into a soccer club and saying "hai guise, why are you running a rubber ball up and down a field? shouldn't you be doing something real like reading a book or solving math problems?"
