Why do you want to compete? To beat people? To have fun? What does having a piece of paper on your wall add to that that a news post on an obscure website wouldn't? Trophies like this seem silly for anything less than the SEASL.

You should really have more than one reason to splash out on a gaming computer unless you're going to be playing SC2 at a really high level.
