On the topic of the injects, I usually go for the shift backspace method with the function of backspace set to alt instead. Most zergs go for w though. I used to go ahead and inject each hatch, taking note of if a new one has sprung up or not, or if I had lost a queen. This means that I injected really slowly in an attempt to not inject the hatch with nothing at it. Its for moments like that this method works well, but otherwise it can be useless.
