metaGameGods (mGG) is a SEA-based, community run clan with the goal of furthering the Starcraft 2 scene at all levels of involvement. We are proud to present our first pro-level tournament with The SEANA Trials. Open to anyone residing in a SEA or NA server regions, The SEANA Trials is designed to nurture the competitive spirit that is the backbone of all global sports - international rivalry. Tired of hearing that SEA has no true GMs? Tired of hearing SEA talk about how good they are and want to see them fall on their faces? Then The SEANA Trials was made for YOU. Four open qualifiers. Four invites by poll. One chance for glory. Come stand on the backs of giants and claim your victory!

SOUTH-EAST ASIA (SEA)

Qualifier 1: APRIL 20th 2013

Qualifier 2: MAY 11th 2013

NORTH AMERICA (NA)

Qualifier 1: JUNE 8th 2013

Qualifier 2: JUNE 22nd 2013

FINALS

Finals: JULY 13th-14th 2013

OPEN QUALIFIERS:
We will be running 2 qualifiers each for the SEA & NA regions (a total of 4 combined). These qualifiers are open to all skill levels and we encourage anyone to sign up whether you want to win, or if you just want to enjoy yourself!

Bracket format: SINGLE ELIMINATION
Up to the Round of 32: BEST OF 1
Round of 32 through to Finals: BEST OF 3
Grand Final: BEST OF 5

The top 3 players from each qualifier will receive an invite to the Finals bracket, meaning a total of 12 players will advance from the qualifiers.

All of the qualifier rounds (including finals) must be played out in full to properly determine seeds.

COMMUNITY CONSCRIPTION:
To make up the numbers for the 16 player Finals bracket, the community will have the opportunity to vote on the final 4 players. Both SEA and NA will get their own voting polls, from which the top 2 players of each poll will be given an invite to the finals.

To be eligible for inclusion in the voting polls, a player must have played in one of the qualifier rounds.

FINALS:
The 12 players advancing from the qualifiers, along with the 4 community voted players will make up the 16 player Finals bracket.

Bracket format: DOUBLE ELIMINATION
All matches: BEST OF 3

EACH QUALIFIER

1st Place: $50.00
2nd Place: $30.00

FINALS

1st Place: $600.00
2nd Place: $250.00
3rd Place: $100.00
4th Place: $50.00

Those competing in the SEA qualifiers will also have the chance to win SEA Power Points, as an added bonus to the monetary prizes. To learn more about this system, visit this thread.




CAN I PLAY IN THE QUALIFIERS?
To play in a qualifier, you must be currently residing (living) in that region. If you are unsure whether your current location is in the SEA or NA region, please contact admin for clarification.

CAN I PLAY IN MORE THAN ONE QUALIFIER?
Yes, you may play in both qualifiers if you live in that region. However, if you advance from the first qualifier, you may not play in the second qualifier (you've already proven your worth!)

WILL THIS EVENT BE STREAMED?
Yes, at twitch.tv/metaGameGods. We'll let you know the finer details when we get closer to the individual qualifiers.
