A Note about Patch 2.0.4:

• Clan tags will be given out when we work out the fairest way of assigning them. We only have 50 tags to give, but have 55 active members, plus 30ish inactive members who are begining to become active again. Please be patient. Blizzard is aware of the issue with numbers and we are waiting to hear their position on the matter.
• Until your account has been given a tag, please don't remove mGG from your name (unless you actually don't want the mGG tag ofcourse).
• There will be ONE tag given per person. Your other accounts will have to go without.
• The mGG public channel is still active. This is the same one everyone has been using until now.
• We are supposed to have a public group (different from a channel) called mGG as well, but a mix up with Blizz means that isn't operational yet. When this group becomes active, we will encourage people to migrate from mGG (Channel) over to mGG (Group). Sorry about how confusing that all sounds. For now, don't do anything and you will be in the right public chat.
• The private chat has been moved to mGG Private. This is a private group and will require you to be invited in by one of the admins. We wont be using the clan chat because people like Chase and Light won't be able to get in (as you can only be part of one clan).

Just a thought, but would it be a big deal if you just modified various clan tags so you had "mGG" and "mGG2" "mGG3"? worst case scenario that is.

Hi guys! Recently was bumping into MGG channel and was recommended to join the clan by some friendly people in there. An active player here playing since WOL launch but inactive in forum and clan due to lack of exposure. 2.04 upgrade is really awesome and it brought me here!! Why it take blizz so long to implement the clan changes arghhh!

By the way i had applied under recruitment section and was asked to wait. Just wondering is there any place in this forum to check on the application process? Cheers!!

We try to keep people updated with how they're going, but we often have a large number of applicants and it can be hard to keep up! The more you hang out in the channel, interact with our members and others in there, and show us what a lovely and helpful person you are, the better your chances. There are also many other lovely clans around if waiting's not your thing

mGG does get alot of Applications. So If you don't mind the wait...than mGG is the clan for you. It's worth the wait in my opinion, mGG is very friendly and helpful in SC2.

So just be yourself, interact with the community within mGG, be helpful, friendly, hangout regularly in mGG, etc... Do all these you have better chances of getting in
