UPDATE:
Due to a large number of dual-clan submissions Spartans is now an open practice group! To start off we meet every saturday at 8pm AEDT.
Anyone is available to join in and practice as many or few times they like. To participate simply look for "Spartans" under Strategy and Coaching whilst logged onto SEA Battlenet.
Practice sessions last 1-2 hours.
THIS IS SPARTA!
Hello everyone, my name is [sP] NoRe, formally known as mGGNoRe or mGGCwnAnnwn, the founder of metaGame Gods. Recently I decided to create a new clan dedicated to the principles of hard working practice, fun and community. To this end Spartans promote an active training schedule that allows players to specifically work on weak parts of their game in a fun and friendly enviroment. As a member of Spartans you can expect training partners willing to repeat games or build orders until you have solved the weak part of your build, micro-technique or general mechanics. If this sounds like a clan you would like to be a part of please contact me via sc2sea PM or in-game at [SP] NoRe #801. We are willing to accept any members from to at this point so if your interested in a hard working yet fun community clan please apply today!
Please note that exceptions might apply to or players in certain circumstances.
THINGS TO EXPECT AS A MEMBER OF SPARTANS
1: Regular practice regime and practice partners.
2: Regular in-house tournaments with special titles up for grabs to provide motivation and drive to improve.
3: A fun community who love to share their passion for staracraft 2.
THINGS EXPECTED OF A SPARTAN
1: Always willing to help out other Spartans and practice with them.
2: Must turn up to scheduled practice sessions which are held once a week. If you cannot attend drop me a notice beforehand.
3: Be nice and friendly to all other Spartans and help promote a sense of community.
Dual-Membership is open to players on a case-by-case basis. If your a member of another clan and wish to join drop me a PM on sc2sea or in-game so we can work something out.
Finally, in order to quell any sense of drama you might be feeling at this point I haven't left mGG. I am still a part of the mGG community and will playing in clan wars, doing casting and holding tournaments for them as a dual member of mGG and Spartans.

Lol! Nice name! Running man :P Good luck finding members eh! ^_^
Hahaha, Kim Jong Kook playing Starcraft 2 would be hilarious, when he smashing his keyboard or something Good luck man, establishing a proper clan is no easy feat but you seem capable.
mGG is a community driven and focused group, centred around having fun and making friends. Spartans, while encouraging fun is a practice and skill focused group, with more emphasis on helping the player improve. Also, both clans have clauses for dual membership (we did write the rules, in Nore's case, he wrote both sets of rules) given this, I hereby request to join, You have my support in this endeavour Nore.

A random crazy person from New Zealand.
The dual thing sits oddly with myself personally, I wouldn't be happy about any of my members for instance to be in two clans at once, but each to their own
I do wish you the very best though and look forward to future fun clan wars
Thanks for all the well wishes and support everyone. Once we have a small number of players in sP I will be running an open tourney for everyone to join in! Hopefully it won't take too long to get some ppl interested

Personally, I feel that this could cause some issues within individual clans who has members who join double. However the spartan concept is good as it allows good and constant training. I feel that it would be better if this concept is changed into a weekly event rather than a clan event so that people every where who wish to train could sign up for it. Something like the weekly tournament concept. Still good luck to it, don't try don't know, the spartan could work out well.
When you were talking about this before, I got the impression that it wouldn't be a clan, but more of a practice group that a small number of dedicated people could join, regardless of clan...
Dual is mostly for mGG members who would like more structured practice. mGG already has an open clan policy and this was mostly to allow mGG members to work with sP members.
As I said before, dual members is a case-by-case basis and membership therefore isn't garunteed if you apply and still want to join sP. It all depends on the situation for both clans and the individual in question.
So, are you still involved in a leadership capacity in mGG? I'm kind of confused, if this is a new clan why would you be allowing dual membership status? That will only lead to issues and complications down the road. Regardless, best of luck with it.
In regards to dual membership it works the same as mGG's dual membership policy. I created the inital dual membership policy for mGG which has worked wonders so far and I see no reason to change it. People will make up their own minds if they want the sP tag or not just like in mGG people can decide if they want mGG in their name. The best example of this is Chase. He has the freedom to play for TCP or mGG and when the clan feature was released he decided to adopt the TCP clan tag.
So far mGG's dual membership policy has not caused any issues or complications "down the road" and so I feel confident that the policy will work very well on a case-by-case basis. I hope this puts to rest any questions regarding the dual membership policy.
How can I apply for your clan (already found it on battle.net)?
I play SC2 not that competitively but wanna improve, and i have limited time and place to play sc2 as well. Are these the problem that can prevent me from joining the cland?
NoRe the entrepreneur starting up new groups all over the place. Good work man, I'm sure many people will benefit from solid training, no doubt you'll see the results in clan wars to come.
Just a heads up for those applying. I will be away for a couple of days and wont be able to process any applications till monday. Keep applying! We still need a few people to join up before we can get started on regular practice and get the ball rolling on the clan.
Spartans is now an open practice group and not a clan due to the large number of cross-clan submissions. We meet every saturday at 8pm Sydney time (AEDT) and your free to attend as many or few practice sessions as you like. Simply search for Spartans under Strategy and Coaching in the find groups menu in battlenet.
