Round 5 Review
Another double round week, so a shorter review/preview!
First lets get to the catchup game between mGG and ToR from Round 4 mGG v ToR
After a walkover game 1, we had Z v Z at first between mGGRohan and ToRDekid. Both players went pool into hatch, into banelings and speedlings, roachs and lair. Both players got third and traded armies, with mGGRohan gong roach / hydra / infestor vs roach infestor broolord. Eventually it came down to a final fight with mGGRohan using his spines and infested terrans to kill the army and win the game. Next up was ToRmissAsuzy for a TvZ. missAsuzy used hellion/banshee harass to put the zerg on the backfoot. Rohan countered with mass roaches and hurt the economy a lot but the huge mech army of missAsuzy held it off and then proceeded to destroy the zerg base.
Tribe was next out for mGG. Both players earlier expanded however missAsuzy didn't see the 2 base baneling bust coming and only one bunker wasn't enough to hold it off and the lings streamed in to make it 3-1 to mGG. The ace player for ToR was Arnor. Arnor played defensively after seeing the last game and did a 3 rax expo, where as the zerg went for a strong 2 base push with roach/ling/baneling (with drops). Tribe took a 3rd behind it and the attack was well held off by Arnor, despite the banelings making great contact. However before the terran could rebuild all the bunkers a big roach follow up came and won the series for mGG and Tribe.
And now onto Round 5!
ETL v mGG
Duxxie v mGGPow up first for a TvT! Both players early expanded, with Duxxie going for banshees and mGGPow more bio heavy. The banshees did a lot of damage and kept mGGPow in his base. However Duxxie didn’t expand for a long time and didn’t spend his bank and thus when he finally pushed he was held off by Pow. Pow quickly remaxed and went and killed of Duxxie, who just didn’t have the production to spend his bank in time. We lost Pow after the game, giving ETL the win to go 1-1.
Next up was mGGRohan v ETLWrath, a ZvT. Both players played macro and mGGRohan held off the early hellion pressure well. Small engagements went everywhere and eventually we were left with 200/200 armies. The Roach/Broodlord army was too strong for the terran mech army, with no viking support. ETLnoTTuh was next and gave us a PvZ. mGGRohan went for the 2 base roach rush, which caught out ETLnoTTuh who had no cyber core yet and made it 3-1 to mGG. Ace pXalan was out next for ETL, giving us another ZvZ. Both players got to 3rd bases with small engagements, with alan going mutas to kill the 3rd. Rohan went for a counter with his roaches and got the third but couldn’t kill the mutas. The counter attack from alan was too strong to give ETL the game.
Next for mGG was mGGShadow for another PvZ. This was really a case of the Zerg keeping the protoss from getting a third or putting pressure on and the roach/muta army eventually broken through to level the series at 3-3. The ace for mGG was mGGEmperor for a Z v Random! Emperor got terran and build a proxy rax and tried to bunker rush. Alan held it off well enough and kept his natural and eventually Emperor got his own expand. Alan responded with a ling/bane attack, which hit as Emperors forced were on the map, killing most of his workers. Another ling/bane attack won the game for Alan and ETL, great series.
Fusion Slugs v ToT
ToT didn't submit a starter, didn’t turn up and didn't tell anyone that they weren’t going to.. So FS got the free win.
ToR v Team Night
ToR started up 1-0 and our first actual game was ToRLardols v TNNyx. TNNyx went for a 2 base ling/bling attack which caught the bio force of Lardols out on the map and then broke into the main to end a quick game 1. ToRDizz was next out for a PvZ. TNNyx wanted to do early pressure but ToRDizz suspected it and put cannons down. This put Nyx way behind in workers despite the 3 base, with late queens as well. The lack of larva and workers hurt as a collossi timing attack with warp prism harass in the main was too strong and made it 2-1 to ToR.
TNZero was next out and another PvZ. The typical FFE v 3 base opening soon saw ToRDizz go for a immortal/sentry push backed by a warp prism. There were just too many forcefields and then too many stalker reinforcements and Zero had to tap out. The ace for TN was Rising giving us a PvP. Dizz put many pylons in the main of rising and couldn’t kill them all before the zealots warped in and took a really fast game and gave the win to ToR.
QED v AxiS
Fantasy v DuSt was first for a PvT. DuSt did a 3 rax push against a robo gateway expand. Whilst the protoss had the sentries ready, Fantasy missed the forcefields and DuSt took the win. TAHawkeye was next for QED and a TvT. Hawkeye expanded quickly and the armies both had a standup with bio tank. They expanded together twice and kept the econ lead to Hawkeye. Both went to battlecruisers, however the superior tank count was the key, with all the marines for DuSt going down and left the battlecruisers defenceless.
Hypnotoad was next for AxiS another TvT. Hypnotoad went a fast expand and a great scan saw the 3 rax pressure coming. The extra bunkers held it off and he followed it was another expand, to be up 3 base to 2. Hawkeye went for two more bases and then went to kill the third, but it was a planetary, and lost most the army. Hypnotoad went for the counter and won the game. Goste was next for QED, another TvT. Both did an almost mirror build, but medivacs earlier for Goste vs stim for Hypnotoad. The drop from gotse did heaps of damage as he took a third behind it. The big economic lead eventually meant the bio tank medivac army was too strong and gave Goste the win.
Seukil was next for another TvT! Seukil went mech, where as Goste took advantage of that and went for a faster third and bio play. He managed to also snipe the third of Seukil and the economic advantage for Goste meant he soon had a big army to attack. Seukil decided a base race was a better case, as both bases where wiped. The problem was that bank for Goste meant he could setup bases and Seukil couldn't and eventually gave Goste the win. AxiS didnt have a 4th so QED got the overall win!

Round 6 Preview
So lets really quickly see the games we have tonight!
ToT v ETL
ToT still sitting top, but haven't had the bye yet unlike 2nd to 4th who are hot on their heels. They are probably favourites going in to tonights matches and their terrans are strong. But can they stop pXAlan, who is ETL's saving grace so far. ETL are locked in a battle in the bottom half and the win is just as important for them.
Team Night v mGG
Teams at opposite ends of the table and again both teams will be very keen for the win. Team Night really need their golds to start stepping it up if they are to take the series, where as mGG's has had many of their golds like Tribe, Ghost and Rohan take multiple wins. mGG are a hard team to prepare for and Team Night will hope they have their ace Skywolve.
AxiS v Fusion Slugs
Both teams have had a real struggle this season and this game is a good chance for both to gain points. AxiS have struggled to get all 4 players out and hopefully they can tonight. As for Fusion Slugs, they also need their golds to be on top form. It should be a close series.
Tetilla v ToR
2nd v 4th, should be a great series between one of the oldest clans in SEA and one of the newest. Tetilla have been taking a lot of scalps this season and thats mostly thanks to DarthTesla, with two all kills. ToR should however know whats coming by now and not treat him lightly, if they can stop DarthTelsa getting a few kills, they have a good chance of taking the series.
Because our manager was AFK and we didnt know he didnt submit a starter, hence why we found out and did it 3 hours later ourselves. Does this mean we're still gnna get docked 1-0?? :S

Yes sir you will still start 1-0 down.
There are no exceptions to this rule, it is there to ensure all teams have the same notice of opponent and to give the admins a time to put the starters up without having to check all throughout the week.
If we take away the punishment, there is no point having player submissions and then how do you handle the starters on the night.....
Doesnt help that our silver starters are never online/want to play, we really have no choice..
we started with a silver up until this week and none of our golds got to play
Yeah I know you guys have been doing really well in terms of playing starters. Wasn't an attack on you directly. More just frustration that this ended up happening last season as well.
Hey everyone, we are following most of the other tiers in terms of penalty points...
For a walkover (no players showing up the penalty is)
1st offence: 0.5 league points deducted
Next offence: 2 league point deducted
Continuous offences: Team is suspended for review (2 league points per offence)
These will be added to the table that I will be showing with the preview for tomorrows round.
Table
With just two rounds to go we have Tetilla Gaming sitting 2 points clear from mGG. However with 6 points up for grabs any of the top 4 could still grab first spot (with Team AxiS unable to as they have a bye in the final week).

AxiS v ETL
4th vs 5th and it should be a great showdown between the sides. This will be AxiS last game in SEACL so they will be looking to end it with a bang and potentially jump ETL in the standings. It will come down to PvZ, with Protoss aces Pinealan and DarkPhoenix for AxiS vs pXAlan for ETL.
Tetilla Gaming v Team Night
By league standings you think this should be an easy win to Tetilla, but Team Night on their day are all killing quality teams, like ETL last week. Which Team Night turns up is the big question. I think this should be a quality series. A major win for Tetilla might wrap up the title.
QED v mGG
mGG need a major win to keep the pressure on Tetilla and playing the 7th team in the league they will be feeling confident. But this team is QED, and they have a strong side. I still think mGG has the edge, but it wouldn't suprise me to see QED sneak a win.
ToR v Fusion Slugs
Another one sided result based on league position, but ToR and FS have a lot of BSG history and the slugs have done much better in recent weeks. Still it will be a very hard game for FS and ToR still have a slim hope of winning the whole thing!
I would like to apologise to everyone involved with the ToR vs FS game for my behavior last night. It was wrong and bad mannered and I should not have done it, no excuse.
