mGG is running a bronze and silver recruitment drive, to replenish our numbers that have been ravaged by promotion. Over the next few weeks, mGG will be making a concerted effort to pay particular attention to bronze and silver players present in our public in-game channel 'mGG' (fear not noble warriors in higher leagues, we won't be ignoring you. Come chat to us as well!).

I'm a bronze or silver player, and I love mGG! What do I have to do?
Say g'day in a post below, so we know to look out for you, then join us in channel 'mGG' in-game. Once in there, say hi to everyone you can and ask to play some games, ask some questions about meta game, ask some questions about the weather if you want! We like chatty, active people!

How do I get recruited into mGG?
People are invited into mGG based on our impression of your personality. People who are:

• friendly and active
• with a good learning attitude
• well mannered
• and passionate about the game

Will be considered for joining mGG. This process can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. The more impressed we are with your willingness to learn, the more quickly an invite will be offered (assuming you meet all of the criteria listed above).

I am interested in joining mGG for practice games and coaching (I'm bronze), to improve my SC2. Also to get out of bronze and see what rank i can get to as well

I already been in mGG channel in the past few days, talk and played with some people in there. I guess, just to have a black and white of my interest in joining (i haven't been in any clans before, so i don't what really to do in a clan). I already sent a recruitment form earlier today using the form from the above link.

I already posted in regards to the Bronze Tournament thread.

Hmm I dont mean to derail the thread, but it seems like most clans atm have a lack of BSG players, and Ive noticed personally this season a lot of my players get promoted to either gold or platinum, and some of them have been fairly inactive.. I wonder if its just the player drain, pushing players up?

Anyway I think we really do need to make a big effort to encourage Bronze and Silvers to join clans and im glad mGG are doing a tournament (Funnily i was talking about the same thing earlier in the week!)

I guess with HotS and clan support, a lot more people in game will find out about clans which will help.

Anyway best of luck recruiting, mGG are a great clan

HotS will be good for BSG recruitment. as i've said a few times, the big issue is that most BSG players on SEA server doesnt know about sc2sea.....maybe see if blizzard and have the site on the front page on the sc2sea client might help. or have BSG link this site at the start of a match, which i do from time to time if they are mannered.

Iv been watching my younger brother doing BSG over last few days (he got gold in 3 days :P) and there are plenty of BSG players out there, BUT I doubt most of them know about sc2sea. Iv been getting him to link sc2sea and our Bronze tournament page to alot of the bsg players his been playing, and at least as far as the b/s go, they never heard of sc2sea before.

So I think right now the best thing to grow BSG, is in the hands of the current BSG, to talk to their opponents at the start or after games, and make sure they know about sc2sea, make sure they know about clans and clan wars, and the weekly BSG tournaments.

Completlely agree there should be some sort of link to sc2sea.com in the client. As nirvana said in his blog the other week. Its the community that keeps the game going and takes it to a whole new level of experience. So any thing that can educate new players (and there are plenty out there still) about the community helps.

Thank that be good to get to GM XD ...well i already sent an application to join mGG using the link in the first post (in the alternate way of sending the application).

So where do I or we go on from here and what is the process or steps to join mGG?
