Another month has flown by in the life of the Fusion Slugs!

We had just started out second internal tournament which will be played over many weeks which features 25 slugs, from Bronze to Masters, fighting it out for glory. To ensure everyone has fun, we have split into two tiers for the early stages, with the higher level players getting byes in the elimination bracket to avoid Bronze vs Masters matches, unless of course the Bronze happens to beat everyone else! We are also awarding prizes for the winning, top Tier 2 player and most entertaining player. Once we hit the bracket stage more news will be provided here, including how people can watch if they are keen!

In clan war news, the Slugs have been on fire lately, playing in 6 clan wars and excluding the unfortunate smurfing incident in the sR one, has won them all. It started with a rematch with Team Night from the FSCT final, with FS winning 5-2 in a Platinum/Diamond showdown. The BSG slugs then took on ToR and won the crazy 4v4 ace match, to win 3-2. A double clan war with TCP followed, with the Gold/Platinum going 4-1 to FS and our first ever Masters level war, going 5-4 in a tense series. Finally we played mGG in a Platinum/Diamond clan war, and took the series 5-3, in another close set of games.

Individual wise, DronesInJail continues to impress, taking home the Team Night weekly #3 and a top 4 finish in both Team Night Weekly 1 and a GPD! He also got the chance to play some guy called PiG in the IESF finals and Zomgrofl played Mafia... They both were very excited about the opportunity to play these guys and have fun doing so! Zomgrofl achieved another final appearance in the BSG Open, Chilla got a top 4 in the GPD Open and Kezz took 2nd place in the sR BSG weekly.

League promotions also a plenty, with Drones not surprisngly hitting Masters, Kezz, Quackpork and Zomgrofl getting to Platinum, Eagle hitting Diamond!

In recruitment, it was a busy month with Qwerty ( ), Chilla ( ), heGEmOni ( ), Enever ( ), Hyrlis ( ), Koreign ( ), Perks ( ), Paladin/AssyrianKing ( ), DarkNemesis ( ) and finally VitaL ( )

All in all, it was a crazy month for the Slugs, as our one year anniversary gets closer!

Looking good Ben! It's amazing to think we started as a bunch of Bronze and Silvers with one or two Golds and a Plat. How far we've come in less than a year! Goes to show that good manners and hard practice definitely pays off in the long run.
