I would also like to open up discussion on a rule...
I've noticed a few players who have been in a higher league ( Platinum ) and have been demoted for whatever reason, most likely inactivity on ladder.
They then get placed back in gold, and joined BSG without having done very many ladder games for the season...
So i would like to suggest a rule regarding people in this situation...
If a player has been ranked in a league higher than BSG in the last 2 seasons, they must play at least 25 games ( more maybe? ) in the current season to be eligible for the BSG tournament.
What are peoples thoughts on this?
Edit:
If this is too hard to police, maybe we could just blanket anyone who has been plat or higher in the last 2 seasons as ineligible, and they'll just have to play the GPD instead?
I don't mean to step on anyone's toes here, It's just something i've been thinking about for the last couple of weeks.

There could be reasons for the demotion such as change of race, inactivity for a season as well as 'blizzard placed me too high a league during placement and I lost heaps to be where I should be, which is BSG' etc.
Even then I have heard of cases of players who were placed plat then was on a losing streak soon after and demoted back to gold (not smurfing but geninue cases of players who might not really be ready for being plat)
Perhaps if we can sieve players placed higher than plat before and how long he was plat that might be a better indication of whether he is suitable for the BSG weeklies?
