However, they need your help to make the cut. GomTV has hosted a poll where you can vote for TWO players to advance to the qualifiers. The top 16 participants at the end of the poll will go head to head to determine who will represent America & SEA.

Looking at the numbers, I don't think we can put any of our players over Scarlett and Idra with the current size of our community

EDIT: Now that I actually read the post, it seems we only need top 16 to get our players into a tournament where they can compete for a spot. THIS is possible, although the tournament itself will be stacked to all hell.

This is one of the few times its not great to have so many good SEA players. They will defeat us by giving us more options to spread our votes around. Looks like Moonglade has a good chance to get in and PiG is on the edge of in or out. Tgun needs to get more of a public face out there it looks like

3 players for EU, 2 players for NA + SEA + SA seems reasonable to me;;
1 NA+SA, 1 SEA doesn't seem feasible from GSL/IPL admins

Statistically, if only 1% of the SEA/Australia population votes, we're guaranteed to get two players in the top 16.

theres only like 30 names there and we just need top 16 to get in the playoffs. I think you only need 1% of the vote to get into the bracket.

Everyone should vote for mOOnGLaDe at least because he has a realistic shot (some people misinterpreted this as meaning vs the GSL players, I actually meant realistic shot at making top 16.)

Looks like both Pig and Glade are on par for a spot in the qualifier. My only concern is that there are a total of 17 players showing >=1% meaning theoretically one of the players showing 1% will not go through. Im not sure how their rounding works but it is irrelevant anyway, top 16 will get through at the end of the day.

Listen carefully, this means that:

- PiG is placed 16th now (139 votes) which is great, but he is only a mere 22 votes above KawaiiRice (112) which puts him at considerable risk of losing his spot.
- Moonglade is sitting comfortable at 323 votes and should get a spot in the qualifier unless this poll goes on for weeks.

Logic dictates that unless Glade's rank declines and his chance of getting a seed becomes uncertain then PiG should be your first choice. Note that this only matters if you find yourself trying to decide between Glade and PiG for a single vote, feel free to just vote for both of them

Having said that, I'd like to point out in the loudest most attention grabbing voice/font/language that: ~
TGun is only 52 votes from eclipsing KawaiiRice and becoming the 16th seed! (keep in mind that he would need a handful more to secure the spot in any real fashion).

I therefore urge you all to think carefully and review the results before hastily voting, it could mean the difference between giving 1 or 3 of our beloved SEA Veterans the chance at winning a seed.

mOOnGLaDe as of now is almost assured to get in. PiG 14th-15th or so and is quite a few votes ahead of the next one in line.

tgun is only about 70 votes off making top 16. Vote for PiG and tgun if you wanna see the maximum SEA represntation!

Incognito works, just got tgun upto 150. and spread some votes between pig and mg.

Copy the address, make sure the page isnt open on the main browser, open icg mode, paste->vote, repeat.

Edit: You'll know if your vote counted by the note on top, if it was it would just say thankyou for voting, if it wasnt it would say we've already counted your vote.

Looks like people are really abusing the loopholes, I've set up a feed to track the poll results every 5 minutes via a spreadsheet. SEn/Scarlett are picking up approximately 100 votes per minute whilst most other players (including IdrA & HuK) are barely picking up 2 votes every 15 minutes.

In an Earlier post Dox revealed its extremely likely Scarlett and Idra's voting is way ahead of everyone due to people rigging the contest, Thats what he is talking about lol

Most players have seen an increase of 10-15% votes since this time yesterday, while desRow and SEn have gone up by over 200% hehe.

IdrA and Scarlett were next in line with a ~35% increase.

Insur, Sanddbox & GiX didn't get any. :[

What this shows, is that there are very dedicated people abusing the loophole and voting for the same combinations of players repeatedly.

If they continue at this pace, SEn will have over 15,000 votes by the time the poll closes, and Scarlett will be at around 12,000.

PiG is still barely in the running by 33 votes. tgun needs a LOT of votes.

Seeding kind of makes me annoyed...

mOOnGLaDe has a good chance but PiG has a very formidable opponent in Sen especially with single elimination...

The combination of single elim and seeded on popularity is really shameful.

Single elim should only be used when you have a decent way to seed people otherwise there's no reason why the 2nd best player based on skill can't go out first round.

On the other hand this might be a stroke of marketing genius, as it increases the likelihood of someone who is more popular but not necessarily as good going through.
