Tis a shame, because I think SQL really had a good chance to propel their name out there in regards to e-sports. I think using SC2 is probably the best way to do that.
Who knows, maybe Josh and Nate don't have much time to really look properly into things? Lets be honest here, SC2 is a whole different scene compared to CS. Inexperienced maybe? Seeing as most of their background history lies in CS.

As far as I was aware, neither have anything to do with the current iteration of SQL. Sequential as it is now is the same in name only, it was revived by a BF player called Glock in an effort to use the SQL history to gain sponsorships.
I'm unaware if this has changed in the ~year it's been back up though.
