How long have you been casting / have you cast before Runamok?
It's good to see you want to do something more for the SEA community.

If you don't mind me asking, what's your upload speed?
I'm at 0.9Mbps upload. A typical 20 min video will take a good 3-4 hours to upload @ 720p It's quite painful!

Hmm well what format do you upload? Once I'm done editing in Adobe I export the avi with lagarith (1/8th the size of uncompressed) which retains 99% of the original quality and then I run it through x264 (MeGUI) before uploading. It's a bit iffy with YouTube, but that's because if I'm doing a 1 or 3 minute clip I go for different quality sizes, for casting you'd probably find a singular profile to stick with. I learned about this back when people did CoH 40+ minute podcasts. You can get it down to 350MB~ 720p

I can hand you some deets on this if you ever decide to give it a try, I used to do CS editing full time and helped others.
