I thought about getting Gunnars at one stage before, as they are meant to reduce eye fatigue, and damage caused by extended periods of time in front of a computer. (since I spend just about my entire life in front of one) They do a few other little gimmicky things, like keep moisture around your eyes, but the evidence to support them is flimsy at best, using a bunch of "Scientific" terms coined by Gunnars themselves, so it could just be marketing.
There is however a completely FREE way to do the exact same thing.
The reason your eyes get sore in front of a computer is because computer screens were designed to emulate the light of the sun, which your obviously not meant to look at for ages, especially at night. FLUX changes the light given off by your screen to a softer yellow (its not really noticeable though) and is just as effective as the $300/pair of Gunnars gaming glasses.
It will help to reduce eye fatigue, AND make it possible to spend even longer playing Starcraft!
