Happy New Year everyone! On behalf of the site's staff, I would like to wish everyone an awesome and fruitful 2012!

Our guest for this week is always spending hours writing up a thorough analysis of your replays, complete with helpful squiggles with Paint! He is always there to provide a mature voice and stand on various issues, and is known by most who frequent the site.

+ [Intro - me embarassing myself with my basic command of French] +

crazerk: bonjour monsieur! comment cava? (English translation: hello sir! how are you?)

Nemo: Ca va! (i'm good, how are you?) (not really a qn, it's like a greeting thing)

crazerk: est-ce que vous mangez? (Have you eaten?)

Nemo: Pas encore (not yet)
Dans 30 minutes 1 heure (in 1.5 hours)
To français est excellent ! (your French is excellent!)

crazerk: hahaha non non (haha no no)
pas excellent (not excellent)

Nemo: You play Guitare ?

crazerk: Oui, je fais la guitare (yes, I play the guitar)
tu fais le musique instruments? (Do you play any musical instruments?)

Nemo: Non, malheureusement (No, unfortunately. sadface)

Nemo: My son and my daughter play piano. My wife plays piano too, I like when they play.

crazerk: aww that's sweet. you should sing along or something! haha

Nemo: Ha ha, I sing sooo bad. I sing for my kids because they don't care, they like it anyway

crazerk: lol! how old are your kids? They sound cute

Nemo: 14, 12, 9! I blogged about them some time back, in my blog post about my holiday!

crazerk: Ah yes, I remember reading that! est-ce que vous travaillez? I mean, what do you work as?

Nemo: Insurance, I created my old business a few years ago and associated with a bigger company.

crazerk: i see i see. So, you live in France.. so why are you on SEA site instead of EU ?

Nemo: There is no such good community site I know in Europe, Or wherever in the world for all I know.

crazerk: Oh I see. And from what I know, you have been posting very actively in the Replay Analysis , etc, and have become one of the most high rep points on the site! You seem to know alot of SC2, but your profile says you're Silver? is that not updated?

Nemo: In the replay feedback thread you mean? I'm gold on EU and got placed in silver in SEA
So I'm gold-silver. I played a lot of strategy games in my life. I’m good at strategy but I don’t have enough time to build real-time skill. It’s like, I know what to do, but my old fingers can’t do it quick enough

I could help players in the replay thread because I'm precise and analytical. I watch the game very carefully and point out obvious mistakes at certain points, such as max energy on Orbital, on Nexus, lapse in inject , no creeping, lack of scouting, etc. Until Masters, it's very common!


If I'm not wrong, this is Nemo's lovely daughter!

crazerk: As far as i know, you are one of 2 French here, including Frogmite. Are you going to be asking more Frenchmen to come over to sc2sea?

Nemo: Yes, if I found people worthy of it. I don't want to bring trolls here, so I'm cautious.

crazerk: Indeed, we don't need more trolls around here! haha. So besides SC2, what else do you enjoy doing?

Nemo: I play Warhammer 40K and paint minis! I'm a tournament organiser at that game!

Nemo: In fact Starcraft is more or less inspired from Warhammer 40K.
Zergs come from tyranides and Terran from Space Marines, Protoss from Eldars
And 40K is inspired by Alien of course

crazerk: Are there 3 races in Warhammer as well?

Nemo: No there are more: Necrons, Taus, Black Elkdars (sort of dark Toss)
Different kinds of Space Marines
Orks, Daemons, Chaos (corrupted) Space Marines, Titans

crazerk: Sounds like a very complex game.. maybe I'll have a look at it next time when I'm free
Let's end with a final question - can you tell me 3 random interesting things about you?


Nothing like drinking home-brewed wine!

Nemo: Hmm ok. First, I am a horse rider of good level, for 15 years! Next, I was an officer when I was in the military, and I had 4 tanks under my orders, that was fun
And third, I'm a Royal Assassin books series great fan!. It’s like about a spy but in medieval environment. E.g. This: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Farseer_Trilogy
