Hello everyone and welcome back to another edition of the bi-weekly Starcraft 2 scene news! This week we’ve had a lot of action going on around the world with the NASL reaching its end, the GSL with its electrifying finish and DreamHack summer 2011 over the weekend! If you have a friend that doesn’t know about SC2SEA… You need to go tell your friend about SC2SEA…
1) Team Liquid Fantasy GSTL game! Fun fun fun!
Recently Team Liquid has made a game which basically involves making your very own dream GSTL team! The only thing you need to do to play this awesome game is to have an account on Team Liquid. (if you don’t I’m ashamed of you) Furthermore, you can post your team in Benji’s thread here.
2) New SC2 Ladder maps for Season 3!
This is the thing we’ve been waiting for. We’ve endured, especially you Zerg’s, the agony of Slag Pits, BackWater Gulch and….The dreaded Delta Quadrant for too long! It is time… to get new ladder maps! If you want to check out descriptions of the new maps you can head on over to LennX’s sexy summary of them right… HERE!!!
The NASL is finally getting REALLY interesting with the final confirmed 15 pro's we are just waiting on the winner of the 1028 man Open Tournament, which will conclude on the 26th, so there's not too long to wait!

2) GSL Super Tournament
After God knows how long of intense GSL action, on the 18th of June, the last 2 remaining warriors battled it out in a bo7 series to determine, who is the best Starcraft 2 player out there! After many twists and turns, many ups and downs, battles won and lost- Nah i'm just screwing with you, Polt demolished MMA 4-0. GG NO RE. But the sad thing was all TvT from the Semi finals! T T
This weekend up in the Northern Hemisphere DreamHack Summer was kicking off with many hours of entertainment and countless streams to watch! There were 6 Starcraft 2 streams, 6! I couldn't pick between them, so i just roamed around aimlessly for 2 hours without leaving my seat. Day9 at one stage hit 50k viewers on his stream, so props to him for being so unbelievably famous and popular, though the filthy non-Starcraft game known as League of Legends hit almost 200k viewers! Just because a game is more popular doesn't mean it's better! On to the results!
The SEACL finally will reach its conclusion this Sunday when Terror Australis face aLternative in a fight to the death! The winners will be showered in praise and glory and will have all the bragging rights they want, the losers, will still have no shame because their second place, come on.
