So this is half news update, half blog, but I just wanted to give you all a bit of an update. It has been a bit quiet on the Fusion Slug front but this has mostly been due to a few unfortunate timings.

As most know we had SEACL and I myself helped admin Tier 5. We also had four teams entered overall and had a lot of other things we were juggling with our members (like assisting with the Masters of Koreign, the Illusion Cup etc).

As we got into SEACL many of our core leadership team were busy trying to release BioShock Infinite. This and other projects since meant our BSG leader FSDel had to stop having a hands on presence with the BSG team and he was only able to turn up to run the side for the SEACL games. I myself was working on the game, so between that, running the slugs and SEACL I was a very busy boy!

Once SEACL ended zomgrofl, our PD leader informed we he no longer had the time either due to personal reasons and our M/GM leader Jhedjuka took on a new job, which meant he had to leave Korea to China, with a holiday in between to England. This meant he would be away for a few months (and is working hard at getting decent internet and rejoin us!)

This all co-incided with the end of BioShock Inifinte as I mentioned, but the end of that game was also the end of my job, as I was on a contract until that game shipped. The good news was that I got my new job lined up as it ended. Its a fantastic opportunity with an Australian company, which is small and looking to grow in games and let me share in its growth. Of course to get this growth, you need to put in the hours.

With the other three section leads away and myself locked down in late nights, the slugs have had a rough time in terms of leadership. But things are slowly moving. We are currently holding application for new leadership in our various levels, working underneath myself, Jhedjuka (and Zom,Del when they are ready). The slugs have been around almost 1.5 years now and we have a lot of people who have been in the clan a long time, but havent had a chance to run things. This is their chance.

To be clear, no I am not leaving the clan or stepping down. Not a chance

My intention is that these new leaders will run their divisons, recruit, plan/lead clan wars and help myself, jhedjuka, del and zomgrofl make a better Fusion Slugs.
