"Rounds" would be played simultaneously and 1 set casted

1 set from Ro8
1 set from Win Semis or Los Semis whichever seems will be closest set (all playing simultaneously)
Win Finals set (while second Los Semis plays)
First Los Finals set
Second Los Finals set
Grand Finals (2x set format)

It would be a long night regardless and given it is a Thursday I appreciate people not wanting a 6 hour event.

EDIT: This is all based on Bo3s for each set.

June is a ridiculously stacked month for events. ACL Adelaide, Gigabyte eSports Winter Qualifier 3, and the nRv Invitational is that weekend. The weekend before are ACL Melbourne Regionals and before that is too soon being this weekend. Any further than the 14th and we feel it is dragged out too long.

Thursday gives SA players enough time to train/practice/prepare for ACL Adelaide and also ensures we aren't competing with any other events for a viewer base.

With single elim confirmed (in future we will be hosting offline finals which can become day events with double elim etc) the only thing left unconfirmed is the best ofs.

As it currently stands the format is

Bo3 Round of 8 (1 set casted - voted on before night) 6-7pm
Bo3 First Semi Final (casted) 7-8pm
Bo3 Second Semi Final (casted) 8-9pm
Bo5 Grand Final (casted) 9-10.30pm

Note it will likely be quicker than timings provided.

The reason to stagnate Semis is to ensure as much content is casted however we appreciate an hour between playing and the overall format may not be welcomed.

Are people happy with this or would they prefer both Semis played simultaneously bumping it up to a Bo5 with a Bo5/7 Grand Finals?

Yeah it's why double elim would have been better but unfortunately due to the time requirements T_T

Alas in future we can organise an offline finals well in advance to avoid said issue!
