i would like to watch some good anime, can anyone suggest me something to start with?

Firstly, have you seen any anime before? What did you/didn't you like?

What kind of shows/movies (in general, not anime related) do you enjoy? Is there anything in particular that you hate?

It's very hard to just suggest a good anime, as it encompasses many different genres, for people of entirely different preferences

Any genres you know? (Mech, shounen, romance, action) etc

Just watched first episode of Sankarea, very enjoyable. Pretty interesting concept, dark and funny. Will be tuning into next episode ^^

Sorta mixed about J.C Staff, for me they do some good shows imo (SNS, ZnT, Index)
but they sorta fail a lot of others (Yumekui merry, Hidan no aria)
Feel like they could've made those shows alot better.

I didn't really like any of those shows, though I didn't give them a proper chance to be fair. Haven't really loved anything (except Bakuman!!!!!) since like 2008 haha

Yeah I think Index was probably the best show they did, the idea/concept really good imo.

I tend to not care about studios so much as rather I'd just watch the show and judge the show.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica - one of the best anime i've ever seen.
Studio recognition for following stories (some studios dont follow the story of novels as much as they could, although probably impossible to adapt the full novel) and also artwork.

Madoka so good.

Yeah, KyoAni in particular are very good at sticking to source material, and it's really paid off for them. I wish they got Little Busters
