cRneKo's TteSports Shockspin review.

Tt eSports Shockspin

First impression.

My first impression when seeing was that they looked pretty badass, however very chunky. I assumed they would be extremely heavy for a headset however I was completely wrong. They weigh probably 200-300g for how big they look.

When first unboxing it, I was quite suprised to see everything that came inside the packaging. The Ttesport Shockspins include a neat little volume box which allows you to very easily control volume on the fly, this is extremely helpful to me as I was using the Ttesport isurus earphones before and I would have immense trouble with controlling the general volume of my computer.

The box also includes a clip on microphone which has a very simple on/off control, but what seemed maybe a bit redundant was the rotatable clip, I can understand its practica uses, however I for one cannot determine whether or not it's very helpful in most situations, perhaps it can be altered to help shorten the size of the microphone?. I do prefer the clip on microphone compared to a usual mic coming off a headset though.

One aspect in which I absolutely loved, was the extended auido cable. My biggest issue with other headsets are the length of the cable, as I must plug everything into the back of my computer, with the extended audio cable I was able to simply adjust everything to my liking, and simply tie up any unwanted length.

Comfort.

This is a huge issue for not only myself, but many other gamers as well. So many headphones are uncomfortable or too tight. However I can say with ease that these headphones are possibly the most comfortable that I have ever had in my life, they rest on your ears with a velvet pad, which most of the time I never notice (Which is a good thing!). The speakers themselves are actually really big, and I have huuuuuuge ears so this is amazing. It also has a very cool adjustable headband, which is designed extremely well, when wearing it you will hardly notice any adjustments which makes me pretty happy! I would honestly say that I fell in love with these headphones just based on the comfort alone.

Sound quality.

The sound quality is pretty epic, but my biggest issue is that they leak sound! It's very annoying having all the sound on my computer being heard by people around me, it isn't a huge problem but that is just about the only thing I can criticize about it.

Microphone quality.

I will have to base this on what my friends think! The quality of the microphone is very good, I do wish that it could be tuned a bit louder though as I usually have to have microphone boost on just so they can hear me. The mic also doesn't pick up that much background noise compared to others. I can however always hear a bit of what my microphone picks up, it's very strange and sometimes irratating if I drop it ( I do not know if this is something on my end though)

Usage

To be perfectly honest, the headset itself was extremely easy to plug in and use, I had no issue with it from the very beginning and even a few weeks later it still works perfectly for me. Crystal clear sound coming in from both speakers at all times!

Conclusion

Pros
-Awesome sound quality
-Extremely orgasmically comfortable
-Very lightweight and easy to carry around
-Very well designed overall

Cons
-Some may not like the bulked size of the headset
-The volume control on the headset is actually pretty chunky and weighs down the cord
-Cords become tangled quite frequently

My final thoughts

I think this is an amazing headset, and I would recommend them to just about anybody looking for good quality and comfort all in one. There are still a few little things that could be fixed, but right now it's a top of the line product.

My rating
8.5/10

Hopefully my writing skills aren't still terrible! Thank you to TteSports for letting my test these headphones! GL HF : )

Can you expand on this?

Ahk, makes more sense now

It's so you can adjust to positioning of the microphone to point towards your face depending on where the microphone is mounted.
