Unless you want the tournament to have a specific format that isn't already used by the tournaments currently running. But we admins are reasonable people and will listen to our sponsers.

I agree to an extent, but I didn't really say much about this before. I fully support events like the SEASL and SEACL, but from a time/payoff perspective, there are better ways to promote the cause of esports in SEA (imo, obviously). Running a 10+ week league for a few hundred shared between a clan is less effective for that than a weekly cup.
If the goal is to support eSports, more tournaments is good.

While more tournaments may be good, I think it's better to have one big tournament that can be easily marketed to the rest of the world.
IMO, having one tournament run for a long time (multiple seasons) is a lot better than having multiple tournaments that only run once. It shows that the admins are commited to this league and that the said league and it's community is stable
