A date has been set for the next TD LAN. The theme for this LAN will be 1 on 1 action.

Date: 27th November (Saturday)
Time: 10am-10pm
Location: West leagues club.
Cost: $15 if you pre-register and pay online or $20 at the door on the day.

STARCRAFT 2 Tournament

We will be running Wollongong’s first and only Starcraft 2 tournament at this TD. There will be a $60 gift certificate at JB-Hi first place prize for the ultimate champion of the open event and smaller prizes for the winners smaller events. The tournament will consist of 3 qualifying rounds and then placement into the right league (level) - anyone and everyone can take a shot at the $60 first place prize though. The tournament will be ran as a double elimination. Numbers will be limited to 30 so the first people to register online and pay will get a spot. We will have a waiting list if we get over 30 people but only those 30 that have rego’ed and paid will be guaranteed a place in the tournament. Other Activities.

There will be plenty of non starcraft action too. We have decided to play to have a FPS free for all on Open Arena. Open Arena is a free download is basically a quake 3 clone and uses the quake 3 engine. After the free for all players will be ranked and 1 on 1 games between the top 8 players will be carried out in a knocked out format. Maps will be announced later.
