So this is my recent experience with my Razer keyboard/ mouse. I have started playing GW2 and maybe once a week my character just keeps running forwards or sideways infinitely until I log out of the game and relog. I then noticed that when I clicked on the chat bar, sometimes my computer would just spam infinite 1's into the chat bar (my side mouse key is bound to the 1 key).
So my cunning plan was to update my Razer drivers to see if it was that. What I didn't really appreciate until is was too late was that the new drivers is this Razer Synapse 2.0 thing they have created. So now what happens is that every time you start up your computer, this big ass window loads up in the middle of your screen and it logs into the Razer cloud to check if your settings have changed and sync's it for you. Even if you never change them, the software keeps asking you to log in or if you are permanently logged it you will see this window each time you start up. The extra joy was that now without even starting up GW2, my keyboard started randomly spamming W into the Google search bar infinitely and the only way to stop it was to restart my computer. I have have similar things happen with the 1 key. What is weird is that after restarting my computer it stopped and it is not predictable when it will happen again.
See the screenshot below:
This is what is running all the time now so that I can use my mouse and keyboard. If I don't allow this program to log into Razer then my side key doesn't work (when I click it I have bound it to the no. 1 key). If you use a program like CCleaner to prevent Razer Synapse 2.0 from starting up then the 1 key doesn't work either. So it seems like I have to either tolerate this program loading up and being in the middle of my screen and logging into their cloud each time I start up OR live without my side buttons on my mouse. I am leaning to live without the side button, but I have really gotten used to using it and can't believe I have to give this up when it worked fine before without all this extra crap I have to deal with now.
In addition, it seems to be using a lot of unnecessary memory or is 56k not that much?
I tried to contact customer service, but Razer doesn't have support (as in an actual person you can email) for their peripherals apart from the online FAQ's which don't help me. I emailed their laptop crew in the hope they could put me in touch with someone, but alas they just told me they don't deal with anything but their laptop and give me the web address for the FAQ. At the very end of the FAQ's is a message you can send for feedback but they don't reply to it (so helpful)!
Does anyone have a similar problem to me? Can anyone advise me on how to go back to the original drivers or what might be causing the repeating key pressing issue?

Subject: razer synapse software problems
Hi
I tried to find a technical help contact on your website for peripherals
but it kept sending me in circles to different FAQ on the website, and this
was the only email contact I could find. If there is a different contact
person for this please can you give me their email contact.
I installed the synapse software yesterday and since then I keep getting
popups to log into the account each time I log into the computer and I
don't want it to do this. How can I stop this from happening without
compromising my mouse and keyboard settings (I have a deathadder 3.5 and a
blackwidow ultimate steath keyboard). When the popup comes up, I have to
manually close it but then my side buttons on my mouse don't work even
though the mouse button 4 is bound to the number 1 key.
Basically, I just want to set up the lastest drivers on my computer and
then not be bothered with the cloud or anything like that again. I want to
log into my computer and I want the mouse to be already working without
needing to log into the cloud to check that the number 1 key is still bound
to the side mouse button. How can I sort this out or go back to the
original drivers I had before Synapse 2.0.
Well it seem like this issue with the window popping up should be resolved soon in an update:
Hey Vincenzo,
We are aware of this issue in Synapse that the Config Window pops up. This will be resolve in a update to Synapse in the very near future.
We don't have any other time line for this update besides soon.

I installed it and it kept crashing everytime i tried to use my macro keys that I have either rebound to be other keys or to launch programs. I uninstalled it. keyboards dont need drivers except for changing key functions anyway. I find both mouses and keyboards tend to work just as well if not better without drivers
