Hey, Norm here from Myth E-sports. We're currently on the prowl to find some talented PC teams as the organization is about to expand into different gaming-platforms.
Before you decide whether to join our reputable organization and become part of the family or not, I'd like to tell you a little about our organization and what we have to offer you in return for your talents in your respected game-title.
History behind the organization
Myth E-sports is an Australian competitive gaming organization with teams in many different gaming-genres. Myth was established on the 7th of June 2011, under the leadership of Caleb "Pulseey" Scott.
We as an organization have aimed to improve to Australian gaming community and raise the bar of players and teams to better help the Australasian community. Both players and staff display a vast knowledge of games and esports , with this we hope to represent the community and establish a new era in Australian gaming.
We currently field teams within Call of Duty Black Ops 2 (AU), Call of Duty 4 (AU), Shootmania (AU), DOTA 2 (SG), with our DOTA 2 team also being invited to qualify for the TI4
Prerequisites we are looking for in a team.
- Have a proven track record, this goes for both online as well as LAN events.
- A steady and solid line up, we want our teams to become like family, so in saying that we'd prefer teams that have had/kept at-least 50% of it's original line up.
- Be active and participate within this fantastic organization, you'll be required to assist with interviews as well as spread the Myth name well with good behavior and helping the community, which in return will of course reflect well for the organisation as a whole and help us get sponsors
Now, the bit you all just crave. What can we offer you?
- Funding regarding entry to online competitions as well as coverage for LAN events.
- Organization T-shirts, these will be worn for all LAN events and are a prerequisite upon joining as it benefits both the organization as well as our sponsors, and lets admit it, you'll look good as a team.
- Sponsorship in the form of products. (Sponsorship deals under-negotiation)
- Dedicated content writers as well as video editors will be at your disposal should you need / want to show off your amazing in-game talents.
-Minor monetary support for flights/accommodation for LAN events.
So if you think "Sure that actually sounds amazing."

My players (wettowel, forbz, zenaku and mufasa) and I decided to leave Myth after they (Myth) were dishonest in their dealings with us. We fell victim to an organization which put on a good face but had nothing behind it at all. Embarrassing, yes, but a good lesson to learn.
Thank you for pointing that out. People need to know that Myth management was not honest with myself nor my players during our brief stay. Honestly, it was my fault for being naive and not surveying the scene enough to preempt what would eventually happen.
Even if I put the burden of blame on myself, I advise ANYBODY interested in joining to Myth to think long and hard about their decision. I'm not saying teams can't change, but PLEASE get a contract signed if you want ANYTHING to be assured. It would be prudent to wait for LAN payments or actual deliverance of a jersey, that is to say, have tangible evidence of their capacity to fund you as a player before signing or joining these guys.
I'd also chase up these apparent "sponsor-negotations", get specifics, knowledge is power.
E.g. forgive me if I am mistaken, but I'm not even sure any of the sponsors on the banner even sponsor Myth anymore. I hope I am proven wrong, just pointing that out.

I would like to say that I have only just been signed as a manager of Myth E-sports in the last 3 days. Since I have joined a lot of things will change and will continue to change until Myth runs like a proper business. We plan on getting on top of everything, we are also reviewing our current sponsorship's so until we hear back from them, they are still our sponsors. The way Myth will run will be different, we will tell you the truth and only the truth about what we can and can't pay for.
Sorry to hear you had a bad time while you were signed with Myth and I wish you the best of luck in the future.

I apologise, I didn't realised that there had been issues before with other previous teams that have been signed with Myth. If I had of known I would have added it to the original post or told any players that sent in an application.
All I am trying to do is do my part to help the esports scene in SEA grow.

As usual, a team comes to sc2sea to look for potential members to recruit.
A train of negative comments comes in to warn people of shady teams and discourages people from joining the team.
Most people expect the team to offer them a wide array of benefits (From team tshirt, to lan allowances) but please think about what you can offer the team.
Can you put the sponsors in the spotlight by actually having some results?
Do you deserve the benefits?
Back to topic, Good luck finding suitable members for your team! Wish you best of luck!
I would probably confirm with your sponsors what exactly you can provide, especially considering it seems Myth's previous management wasn't honest to their former players.
Apologies for some of the people here, we've had quite a bit of drama with teams over the years.
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
