before I say anything else, I'm going to say, this is not a "which do you prefer" thread, but rather, I need help making a decision.. >.>
So recently, I got Silver on WoL, but I'm still bronzie on HoTS

Therefore, I don't know which I should play. I could play WoL, where I'm higher up ranked, or I could play HoTS, where I'm lower ranked, but I have all the new units, levelling system, and all that stuff.
:c I hardly think it's practical to ladder on both... so yep, which one would you suggest that I continue on?

HoTS

WoL is a lot easier as most players have gone to HoTS, however if you want to improve definitely heart of the swarm and its more fun will all the new cool units

Definitely HotS dude, there's no point playing a game with such a low playerbase when HotS is right in front of you, besides, being silver or bronze doesn't matter a whole lot - at the end of the day, the way you improve will be the same whether you're playing HotS or WoL - Your current skill level doesn't matter

Yeah I agree with all the above. HotS definately the way to go. I was gold league in WoL but then ended up being in Silver when HotS first was released... but now im platinum. Once you learn the new units and some of the new styles you will progress

Wings isn't relevant anymore, any league you get there people won't really care about, might even look down on you. Not to mention long queue times.

HotS is just better, your league means something, your improvement is actually relevant and you have access to the units that Wings doesn't have which will only help in the long run.

i mean if youre playing for fun, pick which you enjoy more. hell to this day people play Reign of Chaos.

However, if youre undecided, definetly hots

, Play HotS as it is more relevant to what everyone will be talking about and also as what all the major tournaments are playing. WoL will slowly be phased out.

Alright guys, thanks for all the feedback, I guess it does make more sense to play HoTS as opposed to WoL :3 Although, I probably will go back on WoL every once in a while to stare longingly at my silver league sign -.-"

You should wait til LotV comes out before you play otherwise you're wasting your time. To be safe I would wait until at least 6-12mths of patching after LotV even. That way you don't waste time practicing a useless meta game.

There is always reason to play a game, it doesn't matter whether you are playing in what will be the final/perfect meta-game, the fact is its a game and he should play it (and the version of the game that everyone else is playing), besides, if everyone waited 6-12 months for the 'meta-game to finalised', it wouldn't work because no-one would have played it before

Have faith Kumo, it won't be too long before you become silver and above in HotS, and if you would like some coaching come visit 'The Coaching Room' in the StarCraft 2 Chat Groups.
