Hello everybody,

I have created the above subreddit dedicated to promoting and sharing the various aspects of eSports in Australia. The floor is open for everyone and anyone to jump in, subscribe to it, submit content and to upvote/downvote content as they see fit.

The goal is to have a central location with all the amalgamated information from the various sources around Australia to announce major items such as Tournaments, major Organisation changes as well as the state of eSports in general. Things such as x5 PiG getting flown to Dreamhack this year to compete in SC2 is a perfect example of a good article to be shared.

It is literally brand new at the moment, it will be tweaked and polished over the next few days, but there really is nothing left for it but to get people on it and sharing content!

If anybody has any suggestions/tweaks, feel free to make them heard.

Thanks for letting us know about it. I don't see much value past already existing mediums such as forums like sc2sea - but - the more stuff out there the better.

Yeah it's for NZ content as well

And ||||||||||| it's more so that you can amalgamate all of the noteworthy things from ALL the forums and put them in one place. You don't use it to post new content, you use it to link to existing content from sites such as SC2SEA, for example one of the submissions already on that subreddit points to the AVCon SC2 tournament thread on this site

CyberGamer finally has a good LoL following, and a reasonably active DOTA2 ladder. I don't know much beyond that really

Unfortunately there is nothing for DOTA

SC2 has never had that big prize money

I think the dota2 and lol communities are far bigger than the sc2 community. they just dont have a strong community site to support their growth.
