New Management

Firstly I would like to say that the Phoenix community is very strong and protective of its own. This is not a hoax as some have already stated. I have worked along side Troy "Duxxie" for over a year now and it is a sad time to see him standing down. He will not be leaving pX but merely passing the torch onto myself.

I come from a League of Legends and Call of Duty back ground within the e-sports community. I have run organisation before in the past the biggest of these would be Get Skills Noobz and Girl Gaming. I have very little background in Star Craft but did play a lot of Warcraft III.

Changes; well the only real change is that Troy is stepping down and I am taking his position.

My promise to you the community;

1. To run weekly competitions and pay prizes in a timely fashion. This will obviously be as soon as i have settled into the position and have repaid everything that is currently outstanding.

2. To provide a home for those in the community that are looking for a place that will always be welcoming.

3. Be as honest and transparent as possible to the community and pX many players.

The future of Phoenix;

1. Continue to run Competitions and clan wars the entertain the social following.

2. Provide a constant stream of social media, equipment and game reviews,

3. Set up a LAN in every major city and try my hardest to run one in one of the mjor cities each month.

4. Become one of the leading organisations for e-sports not only in SEA but throughout the world.

Now I understand that this is a hard task to complete all of this but once I have sorted all of the current finances I will start the move towards the future and hopefully with your help we can make this happen.

As for a new face coming in. I completely understand that and that is why I am trying to be as transparent as possible especially after that whole thing with Satinii hitting the fan and finding its way to the forums.

Yes Troy will be showing me the ropes of running a sc2 comp over the next month. On this matter i do have experience running comps but mostly in CoD.

I am a little confused though. Weren't you the one that was supposed to pay Satiini the money in the first place? And now you are taking over the whole pX sc2 side of things? I think that would leave many people unsure to how legitimate your claims/promises above are :/

Hm, would've been nicer for you to let tRoy say he's standing down first, especially since apparently the whole Satiini saga was your fault and troy saved you from getting the brunt of the ruining might of Satiini "2 dozen" Finland.

Seems like a bucket of empty promises, he added me to skype week ago saying that he would take care of it, he said he would come back to me last friday to talk about it, havent seen him since, if he is really still in pX, then im amazed that you guys still think that even troy is legit, as I said earlier it smells like a typical scam.

funny comment, since every single player there is playing starcraft 2 and making money of it has been in a tournament/team that did not pay for atleast ONCE, but sure its always everyones own fault! turn it around on the players when tournaments and teams dont pay

In the start when esports started to get more popular in 2003 there were alot of scammers naturally to take advantage of it, im not the only one who got burned many times back then.

2003 was so long ago, things are different now than they are back then. eSports is much larger than it ever has been.

Sooo wouldn't that make you do something about it? I mean, you could've done something like Grubby and self-promote yourself as hard as you can and improve yourself as much as you can and look where he's at right now.

Mate if you wanna go make money out of eSports you really have to market yourself to show people you're worth the effort to invest in. Lol.

Unless you do something about this, you're pretty much Finnished (sorry Matt93, used your pun).

I'd rather not let this thread derail any further, it's an announcement on a new management and a lot of us have doubts about it sure, but no reason for you to jump in and start trouble again. So if you wanna ignite this all over again, do it on a blog, not on a thread like this.

I know my results are bad and my aims are not even so high anymore, I dont deny it, but what exactly do my results have to do with anything ? So if im not doing super good anymore people should be justified to scam me ? And I was only giving out some info on what really happened, the guy came making threads on how he is going to get everything fixed, and then keeps on going like before and lying yet again. Thats all I wanted to say so there is no confusion for those who are only reading his messages and possibly even believing him.
