"Results of the matches may not be shared. This means that the matches cannot be streamed, results cannot be shared on social media, or posted on community websites, etc. Failure to comply with this rule may result in disqualification. Players who are disqualified won’t receive any benefits (seeding, prize, etc.) for their ranking in the WCS America Season 1 Qualifying Tournament. Such Players may also be subject to a Temporary Ban from MLG’s Network of Websites and/or a Ban from a future Event(s). "
not sure if that rule applied to the other qualifiers though and they just dont enforce it.

nonetheless gl to everyone trying to qualify!
Yeah MLG has had that rule before (for online qualifiers) it seems kinda silly imo, but until I hear otherwise Ill refrain from posting results just in case

This tournament is a joke, just like everything else MLG have ever run online. I can't believe Blizzard would trust these idiots to make a fair or competitive tournament.
Half the pros from Australia didn't sign up in the first day cos they were at ACL and as such didn't get into the qualifier. Instead I had to play platinum and diamond players so far... It won't even let me submit my r2 results because apparently the schedule says it takes 3 hours to finish the first best of 3.
So basically me and Rossi are just sitting here staring at our screens like... wtf do we just wait? we're getting really tired... Pet seems to be afk
Dreamhack puts on the best show for WCS and is denied the opportunity to host it because they dont have a studio.
so they rely on the ESL who leave their only caster to cast it solo for 14 hours a day 3 days in a row.
Meanwhile in america they take a completely different route, NASL did a superb job for the WCS canada and no one even knew the american one or the continental one was even happening due to the horrendous coverage AND conditions the players had to play in.
Meanwhile NASL HAS a studio that they cast games in constantly and their production is great and they're left out in the cold.
What in the ****.

This is a bad statement (no offense Pig). What you need to do is professionally inform them of areas they could improve and reasons why your suggestions would be an improvement to their format and the negatives that effect you as a player. Feed back is what helps improve systems. Remember if you are being negative about ones "baby" you need to be very tactful about it so they dont just throw your comments into the "he is mad bro" junk email bin. You have to remember the US is dealing with a lot more people they have to be a lot quicker in their QQ/legit complaint decisions.
Keep in mind Im not saying this isnt an acceptable complaint Im just saying be constructive and send it to the people who can actually make a difference venting here as therapeutic as it is will not registered at MGL or WCS. Also remember its probably a good idea to get some sleep before you throw out your complaint so you can phrase it better after MLG.
Now back to calling them a bunch of male donkeys who couldnt organize their way out of a paper bag.

im not sure how likely it is that mlg are going to look on sc2sea for feedback.
To be fair, every online MLG event in the last 1.5 years has been a rollercoaster of horror stories. :P I'd say most of the issue is GameBattles, but unfortunately it's the best way for them to manage their events due to the offline integration & stats/authentication provided.
In theory it's a good idea to be constructive with your criticism but like PiG said, MLG online events have been riddled with problems for a long, long time.
In my mind, there seems to be a lot of mistakes that could have been avoided with simple common sense.
Yes, the organisation of this tournament was very, very disappointing. People who signed up were left out due to the 512 person bracket. The brackets were hugely delayed. The production quality of the stream is very poor.
Axeltoss and Axslav are bros but **** MLG production.
