Sorry, but this tournament has been cancelled due to difficulties in the number of players. We will be rehosting this tournament at a later date with specifications that will suit more players and therefore find more competitors. Hihi! Looking good so far. Couple of quick questions.
- Why 96 players? 128 and 96 players will take the same amount of time to compete and just means that 64-96 = 32 players will have walkovers first round. In reality it's unlikely you will get more than 64 players so I doubt it will matter any.
- Is it single or double elimination format? Especially curious because you are expecting it to run over Sat and Sun, whereas a single elim format should be over in 3-4 hours.
-This is an online tournament so anyone living in Australia can participate. Does this mean only Australians can play? If no, will you be covering postage to places outside Australia?
- What's the map pool?
- Will the tournament be casted (please please please use someone with a delay server).

Nice! glad to see that you've continued with the tournament! and making it online aswell means more people can attend! I was hoping to join in, but recently was promoted to platinum. If this first tournament goes well do you plan to do some higher ranked ones??

This is currently being discussed. There is a possibility but there's no guarantee as of now

Most likely. But looking at the current number of players, it might be delayed to next saturday. I will try my best to promote this in-game too so we can fill up the slots but so far we have 3 people and the tournament is in 3 days. I will decide tomorrow whether this will be moved to next week or not.

Just put the word out on the ToR page for ya, you could open it up to other regions, you might find others keen, even without the chance to win a prize, the regular BSG tourneys run via this site are usually fairly popular and the prize is only for 1st place.

Well shockwave for one I'm still active. Just not on sc2sea as I needed time away for personal reasons. I would enter this tournament but two days is a big commitment for a casual player. So I feel if I committed I would be just wasting space as I would have to leave at some point.
