Richard Lewis here and we're on site at DreamHack Valencia and we'll be pumping out the usual array of video interviews and written articles relating to the SC2 tournament. We'll update this thread as we have more stuff over the course of our time here. Hope you enjoy it.
After a long event, with probably way too many games for just two days, the StarCraft2 tournament has come to a close. Although the Spanish players were tipped as dark horses it was a wholly different Zerg who came around to steal the show: TargA.
That said mentions need to be given where they're due, which in this case means the winner: TaeJa. After a hard fought bracket run in which X had to be overcome it's safe to say the tournament trophy is in deserving hands.
A special mention does go out to TargA though, the Zerg from Norway who basically stunned the opposition with his strong and consistent play, his variation in builds and ability to adapt. If anything TargA is looking incredibly promising, and with a couple of tournaments already in his planning he's definitely a name to look out for.
As for the winner, TaeJa, this makes the third tournament he has won in 3 months, completing the hat-trick. Both finalists won direct seeding into the DreamHack Winter Championships later this year, whereas the rest of the top 16 only won qualification points towards achieving a spot.
The complete final standings for the DreamHack EIZO Open Valencia are:

This is not my work, i'm just trying to give some extra exposure to a brilliant e-sports journalism website. They have hands down the best interviews in the business, and well worth following on youtube, or on their own website at, www.cadred.org
