Man.. I totally dont get the tie breaker system tho... Like sensator and myself beat the same players, he took a game off 5th.. I took a game off 4th.. And we basically performed the same from there.. But he got more tie breaker points?..
Generally that means in the series that you lost, you went 0-2 whilst he went 1-2.
Yeah that's what I would have thought but he 0-2'd three games 2-0 two 1-2 one game whereas I 0-2 two, 2-0 two and 1-2 two... Thus why I am confused with how it works..? :-P
I believe its more about the opponents you faced at varying stages in the competition. Ie. In R2, Sensator won 2-0 at the same time as you lost 1-2. In R3 you both won 2-0. The win/loss and difficulty of opponents at that point put him ahead of you. R4 was a narrow loss to a high finisher for Sensator, and a straight 0-2 loss for you at that point. R5 saw you face a much easier opponent than Sensator, and you were able to catch up a lot and reach the same win/loss, but I believe its all about the difficulty of your opponents (based on their win/losses and who they also versed) at different stages in the competition.
Very special big thank you from me to the ACL staff (Vanzr, Beware & J.B) for being so accommodating and giving me the opportunity to come down and take some photo's. You guys did a great job, and I'm looking forward to more ACL events in the future.
Gratz to the players, some awesome games throughout the day.
And lastly, keep your eye's open on Monday, when the regular SC2 Scene news article will be replaced with a tournament round-up for the ACL Bris qualifiers, including photo's, results, and interviews with the Staff and some of the players.
