GGA Finals Event - $10,000 in cash & product prizes
Los Angeles, CA & Austin, TX – December 17th, 2012.The Global Gaming Alliance (GGA) is proud to announce, after 8 months of qualifiers, the launch of our GGA Starcraft II Finals Event! On December 19th 2012, thirty-two (32) qualified and pre-invited professional players will go head to head for a piece of $10,000 in cash and prizes. All matches will be taking place online, and streamed via Twitch.TV by SC2 commentator, Gwin!
You might wonder why our original pre-invitation list has changed last minute. Due to circumstances beyond our control, some invited players will not be able to play in our event. We are sad to see them go as we were all eager to see them battle it out. However, we are even more confident that our new replacement players will keep you glued to your seats, wanting more!
Below we've listed information regarding the tournament format of our GGA Finals event such competitors & player info, dates/time, brackets & links. Again, thank you to all players that have participated during 2012. We were overwhelmed with positive responses; it was exciting to give players of all SC2 skill a chance to experience what it takes to be a “Pro Gamer".
We'd like to give a special thanks to all of our partners and contributors who've made this past season possible: AMD, GosuGamers Crew, SC2SEA, eTeknix, UMLAN, G4TV, Playhem, Derek "Dox" Reball, John Clark & all last minute replacement players who cleared their schedules to play in our final on short notice.
Happy Holidays! We cannot wait to bring you awesome SC2 action, one week from Christmas!
Thank you!

Pretty sure Mafia was on.. I remember wishing him luck at some silly early hour. Ninja pulled out of the event and was replaced by Revival (I bet Ostojy was happy about that >.<).. Pet thought he could have had game 1 vs Apocolypse and PiG was looking really good on stream vs HyuN - the 2-0 doesn't do him justice.. Piggy also had some big lag and pumped Tefal with some good anti euro meta..
Happy with the SEAboys efforts as they get showings in more and more tournaments around the world!
