Just wondering what the *average* bsg player reaches in terms of APM. I'm mainly interested in bronze league players but silver and gold will give me a good idea of what to aim for as well.
In bronze it isn't so much how quickly you can accomplish what you set out to do. It's more about having a good solid build to follow. But I hit 70-80 APM no probs.
my average is 50.
can go up to 150 (at least thats what it shows on the replay) but thats like in battle and stuff, then drops right back to like 25-50.
APM doesnt matter too much, as there are times you dont need it and times you do. im diamond and i usually sit on average 70 - 100 APM depending on what kind of game is being played, and 110-150 epm

Somewhere in the range of 250-300, with around 150 EAPM. Stronk 50% redundancy.

Terrible APM here. Roughly 80-120 lololol sometimes I can peak 200 super lategame when unleashing hell.

Yeah don't read too much into APM - APM goes up as your ability to spend your resources, make your probes and make your pylons improves. It's a byproduct of playing properly, not something to strive for on its own.
I haven't checked recently but when I was in gold my real APM was around 110-130, in Blizzard minutes that's I guess somewhere around the 70 mark? I only go by what I'd see in SC2Gears

I had well over 100 apm when I was in bronze (i'm a piano and guitar player so i have fast hands) yet i was still losing to people with 5 apm. So I wouldn't worry about apm too much.
edit:
lawl. Well idk if I have any replays from bronze because I had a different computer back then but I might have some from silver. I will have a look. ^^
edit:
Here is a replay from season 1 when i was bronze/silver. sc2gears says my eapm was 100. I also hit most of my injects with my single queen!
I feel like APM does matter to an extent. I find even with roughly 80-120 apm I still need more at times and if I had 200APM I feel like I could do anything.
