[SEA News]Announcing Team Desperation Move(DM.MCZ)
Team DM's Mission : To allow aspiring cyber-sports individuals to be given the chance to showcase their skills internationally, without monetary constraints and to allow worthy enthusiasts to experience top level video-gaming worldwide.
Team DM is short for Team Desperation Move, a home-grown Singaporean team for fighting game players. Founded by Lenn Yang, Alfred Hu and Ogawa Ryuju, it pays out of its own pocket for its members to go further in the international fighting game scene.
We are glad to announce that Team DM is expanding its roster to include a PC Division. The first team to represent the PC Division would be the Starcraft II team. Team DM is proudly sponsored by Mad Catz.
Q: What are your thoughts about being picked up by Team Desperation Move?
DM.MCZWrath: I'm honoured to be part of team DM as it meant that I do not have to worry about anything else except to get better at starcraft. At the same time, being in a sponsored team means there are more expectations to fulfill. This is in a way beneficial as it pushes us out of our comfort zone and encourages us to break more limits and get better, even it is bit by bit.
DM.MCZProAnnn: I am extremely happy that Team DM picked us(ex-eehan Timing) up all together. I hope to represent Team DM well and do well in tournaments!
DM.MCZBlackStar: I am really happy that I've been picked up by Team DM as they are extremely well known in the console fighting scene. I will do my best to let Team DM be as famous in Starcraft II scene as in the console fighting scene.
DM.MCZPolaris: Getting picked up by Team Desperation Move is a biggest step which I've taken in my gaming career. Upon knowing Team DM's goal and idea of being competitive, I begin to have hope and faith in myself. If it weren't for Team DM, I could have stop gaming as at a certain point of time, I couldnt see any future in gaming for myself and was preparing to stop gaming competitively.
DM.MCZRiver: : Always wanted to be in professional team and improve whole lot in sc2 and win some competitions. I am grateful for this very good opportunity and am looking foward to the future of this team and esports growth in Singapore
DM.MCZeion: I am honoured totally since i am not a player with outstanding archievements.. Thankfully i have great teammates like ProAnnn and River who willing spend time and effort to groom me
