Pre-ordered Wildstar for the beta weekend ( pre-order gives auto access) finding it fairly interesting atm, ofc there is that little dilemma of it being an MMO so it's usually more fun with more people, but anyway onto the fun stuff ey.
So currently I am playing as a medic/scientist, seems a bit off I guess, the medic lack any real range however some of the earlier aoe abilities are nice in terms of dps.
Just figured I'd throw a small post see if anyone else is currently playing through it atm, if you are let me know, if not, I'll try to get my stream going for when I am playing.

My mates in the DominionGaming Youtube group we are going to play the game for a bit. Its its like SWTOR then cool i guess if it has a heavy Story focus then id be interested. SWTOR was the best recent mmo due to the fact it have bioware storytelling. its a shame the quests were awful.
From first glance of this game I wasn't going to pick it up because of the art style being so freaking comical... but it has definitely grown on me. I was either going to pick up this or The Elder Scrolls Online. Since TESO has gotten some really bad reviews, I decided to pick this up.
I've played it for about 4-6 hours now on a Mechari Warrior. I really don't get why people are comparing it to SWTOR, apart from the cutscenes here and there. There isn't the long ass conversations which I think was essentially SWTOR's downfall, the leveling I think is relatively quicker compared to what SWTOR was. IT took freaking ages to level in TOR.
It reminds me alot of what GW2 was at the beginning and also WoW. The Combat is alot like TERA's with dodge mechanics. TERA imo was definitely the most addictive MMO combat in a long while, too bad the player base for that diminished very very quickly.
The main draw to this is the hybrid of fantasy and sci fi elements. I've played alot of MMO's over the years from WoW to GW1 to SWTOR, from TERA to GW2 to Age of Wushu and I have to say it's pretty freaking polished from a starting point of view.
My main gripe with this game though is that the UI needs to fixed a little at the start... but good thing is you can do that on your own. Chatlog with all the NPC say spam was really freaking annoying, I'm so glad I found that format chatlog button to disable that and the gold coming up.
The most surprising element of this game though is the little nods of tongue-in-cheek humour throughout the game, especially when you ding a level. It definitely doesn't pretend to be something that it isn't: a launching MMORPG in a hugely saturated market.
If anyone wants to join me I'll be on the unofficial Oceanic Pergo server at launch which is a PvP server. More than likely I'll be on the Dominion Side.
