I just wanted to add (now that the event is all finished!) that the first thing I said to Pinder when he walked in the door was, "Oh shit! I forgot to include you in the list of contenders for today!" 'cos I knew he had a solid chance!

I'm clairvoyant!
Today was a really great event. Thanks to everyone who turned up, I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about the tournament. I had a blast running it and Matt "Haymo" was an absolute joy to work with. For an event with no cash prize behind it, the competition and atmosphere was actually very friendly and relaxed.
Huge shout outs to TargA and PiG who fell so close to the finish line.
TargA: for performing so well despite his wrist injury and lack of practice.
PiG: for flying all the way down here. PLEASE compete in Brisbane! You deserve to be in those finals and everyone knows it!
And massive shout out to "OUT OF NOWHERE" Pinder for beasting his way through despite the odds!
Can't wait until the Blizzcon Invitational in a few weeks, and WCG Brisbane after that!
Oh oh oh! And massive thanks to Meatex for giving up most of his day to stream our event in wonderful 720p all the way from South Korea, and for the TA guys for joining in to provide additional coverage on the rest of the games which were being played simultaneously.
And huge thanks to tgun for buying all of my meals while he was here! What a champ!
And one last shout out to the iBisQ staff! Friendly, tolerant and helpful all day long. Even when I asked them to walk around and unlock every single computer for me at the end of the night so I could gather the replays. Champions.
And everyone who came up and said, "Hi, I stalk you on Twitter!"
I had a great time yesterday. Thought it was a really well run event!
Was lucky enough to get seated next to aLtPiG. Cool dude, friendly, and knows a lot about the game. (Any Zergs out there should def look at coaching from him).
Was quite happy with my own games. Played 9 matches, had a few good wins.
Met some cool people, and some other familar faces. Still missed out on getting a chance to talk to some others, such as Dox. Ended up playing for a lot longer than i thought i would going into the tournament which is a good thing i guess.
Was able to watch a lot of PiG play. Caught some of Deth v Tgun on stream. Would have liked to see some of Targa + Pinders games, but had to leave a little earlier so missed out on PiG v Targa and the finals. Thanks for uploading replays Dox, shall check out the games i missed
