There were two spots open and I'd bet most people thought KingkOng was going to be one of them. EnDerr's incredibly unfortunate and saddening internet issues left two spots wide open, for just about anyone to take. It ended up being Blysk and NXZ. I'm sure most people wouldn't be surprised if you told them that Blysk would be one of the two spots, but NXZ comes as a slight surprise. KingkOng wasn't in prime form, DemiLove failed to carry his Day 1 momentum over to the second day, and the incredibly scary Alopex/PSiArc failed to get the job done. NXZ showed better play than all the rest and earned his spot fair and square. Congratulations to the new challengers and their new copious amounts of dirty eSports money.
Other players with great break-out performances were Law and Frustration. Albion showed off his skills in a big way too, and I hope we get to see more of him.

Was such a great weekend of WCS things by the sounds of it all, I'm still sad I missed out on being a part of it... Oh well! Next round!
As much as it seems convenient that Pezz retires after losing to Eddie, you guys have to keep in mind that Eddie's pretty good at making units and winning games, whenever he's active he takes games off some heavy hitters!
Much love to Pezz(#RIP), good job picking things up after the shitstorm Baldie~ Solid effort fray boys~
~~~ much love to everyone actually NXZ + Blysk fighting!
You guys definitely underestimated Seither, he's a low KR GM/high master KR Terran player from Geelong(near melb). He usually hangs out with people from NA and never competed in SEA before this WCS. So you better watch out for another aus Terran hope.
