This is an official announcement regarding the latest smurfing incident on the BSG Open #16.
Do note that:
Anyone caught smurfing (signing up with multiple accounts/playing in a compeition meant for lower leage players when youre overqualified) will be instantly banned. For god's sake grow a pair and learn to compete at your own level.
All banned players will have their bnet accounts blacklisted and will never be allowed to join a tournament held on sc2sea again.
All warned players are one step away from being permernantly banned.
Verdict:
There will be a permanent ban given to TkShadow from sc2sea.com.
There will be a final warning given to WonTon and HairyRussian. If they were to cause any more trouble in SC2SEA tournaments in the future all their achievement badges will be stripped and they will be permanently banned from the site as well.
Any attempt to make new accounts and repeat the same will result in a IP address ban which will not let you even view the site in the future.
The verdict was reached after consultation with various Admins including BakaInu, Zergtastic, cure and nirvAnA.
1. TkShadow had smurfed in BSG Open #11 and was disqualified in the past with a ban disqualifying him from joining any future BSG. He first arose suspicion and was caught during the game with VinLikeCow by me, having roughly 180 apm in a zvz game utilizing the apm without much spam. He also had a good macro by keeping his minerals below 300 during the duration of the game and his micro is well above BSG level, verging into master level micro by microing each zergling in his arsenal of roughly more than 20 zergling to receive minimal losses while keeping up with his apm and macro. Although the actual replay was not saved the witness includes Zergtastic who is the co-host of BSG alongside me. And more importantly, the next point has the conclusive evidence.
2. He then returned to smurf in BSG Open #16 (Link to bracket below) after winning the GPD (Link to bracket below) disregarding his past ban from joining any future BSG. He made a new sc2sea account but used the same Battle.net accounts that were used in BSG Open #11, #16 and in GPD Open #05. In view of this, I had immediately disqualified him from the tournament.
3. After his disqualification, he along with HairyRussian and WonTon would later cause more trouble and disrupt the BSG tournament by spamming and confusing the BSG players by giving false instructions in the chat. The battlenet chat is included below.
It is sad that higher league players who are unable to win anything at their level have to stoop so low and try to ruin everyones experience just so they can have a chance to win something.
We at sc2sea want the BSGs to remain a smurf free environment where lower league players can have fun playing with players of simlilar skill levels in a competitive environment. We will continue to try our best to provide the best experience for all our site members, and would also appreciate assistance from the BSG communinty to keep our community a safe and fair one.
You are welcome to send me PMs if you have any proof or suspect smurfers.
Regards,
BakaInu

The second announcement will be for another person that has been using multiple accounts to play in the BSG. We have confirmed through various methods that its the same person playing on the following accounts: MrNayNay, deniAble, MKP, BoxeR.
Verdict:
All his accounts have been permanently banned from SC2SEA.com.
How we came to this conclusion:
-All his replays were checked and we found that hotkeys, APM, and playstyle were the same.
-We have more than 2 people that can prove that all those accounts are indeed played by the same person.
-IP logs on the site from these users are identical.
He has been caught smurfing before, and has been warned for it. Hence, we have decided to perma-ban him from SC2SEA.
Mrnaynay/Boxer was first noticed for starting a series of poor topics on the forums and one line replies with no effort. We sent him PMs telling him how he could improve and were pretty lenient and gave him a chance to grow. However, he took our kindness for granted and even went on to do such immoral things like smurfing in lower league tournaments, even entering them with multiple accounts just so he could have more chances and an easier bracket, and at the same time making other players needless wait for no-shows.
We definitely do not welcome such a person in our community.
EDIT: Confirmed that he's been smurfing for 3 accounts.
We are still working on whether deniAble is a smurf, but he will remain banned for now.
EDIT: KingLeonidas is also the same person.

I think that these punishments were definitely justified. It is important that these disrespectful players be made into an example to prevent further smurfing issues, especially in such small, community based tournaments like the BSG.
He actually isnt naynay. But naynay said hes his friend. So I think naynay was actually smurfing on that account. I remember coaching deniAble a few weeks ago, but he was a zerg. I think he then played terran, but I cannot recall him being THAT good.
Basically we'd be unsure forever apart for the fact naynay said he was his friend, so we can assume naynay was playing on the account.
I hope some people can finally realise that not only is it an extremely low thing to do, but what would you be trying to prove by smurfing? I hope the amount of smurfing will drop significantly in the future.

Hey Guys! i apologise for my reckless behaviour, but my opinion of tkshadow still stands, as i am his teacher.
Hm, so you apologize then make an excuse for your behaviour? Im confused, I didnt read anything about your opinion of tkshadow, only that you didnt want him DQ'd. ;S
hi guys. a new person here.from my bronze view i think deniable is a platinum player. and i haved checked his profile and he is on a win streak. funny thing is... he plays zerg on ladder but competes using terran?!
I hope... Fingers crossed in many many ways that deniable is NOT boxer... Because that would mean that I lost to him in the finals of my FIRST BSG and then later in the semis of my most recent BSG. :'( That's the saddest 2 BSGs of my life. HAHA! The 2 times I got past the second round I end up losing to Boxer? That's just embarrassing on my part.

hmmm... i think tht deniable isnt mrnaynay. cos he plays zerg. i asked deniable and he told me tht it was indeed him himself playing in the bsg and not naynay. he said he trained in kr serer and hit silver there using terran. and now he gets accused of smurfing. plus he showed me his kr acc. which is true. plus he said at the day of bsg he was at naynay house and he wants to apologize to spartaz for telling him he doesnt know naynay cos he was afraid tht spartaz would kick him out of the team. damn... if his explanation was true... then naynay and deniable seems to be innocent parties.

Not as innocent it seems. The thought of being together with a smurfer. 'Birds of the same feather flock together' heard of that? And if he was at naynay's house, more the possibility of naynay playing than him. Excuses, spartaz should be sad that he got someone like him to join the team. But it's not spartaz fault so deniAble the thought itself is bad.
he said he trained in kr serer and hit silver there using terran.
Sounds like a pretty lame attempt at covering his tracks. Playing bronze league in Korea isn't going to improve your game any more than playing bronze league in SEA.
