How does it work?
All interested players for weekend #3 will nominate themselves in this thread by 4 October (Saturday).
If you wish to nominate another, please ensure that the person you nominate acknowledges it in the thread to confirm that he/she is able to play.
You are encouraged to do a brief writeup on yourself to 'promote' yourself or at least let the community know who you are/from etc. This will be useful for those who are relatively new to the community.
The public gets to vote who they want to see facing off in weekend #3 from the 5th October.
The voting will end 10th October.
The top 3 most voted will then have the opportunity to play.
The most voted player will be A, 2nd most voted B and 3rd most voted C.
A will battle it out with B in a BO5.
The winner will then have to battle C in another BO5.
What is the format?
The most voted player will be A, 2nd most voted B and 3rd most voted C.
A will battle it out with B in a BO5.
The winner will then have to battle C in another BO5.
What are the stakes?
Honour, Glory, Fame!
OSC Points
Winner of each set will be awarded 15 OSC points; Loser will be awarded 5 OSC points. A total of 20 OSC points per BO5 set!
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points
Prize pool
The King who beats his opponent in both sets of BO5 will walk away with $10 (AUD).
What if the winner (A or B) of the first set loses to player C?
He does not get to cash out for that weekend i.e. no cash prize will be paid out.
BUT the money will be snowballed into the 3rd weekend set. i.e. $20 for the last weekend of this series for this cycle.
Player C will have the option to be Player A in the next round. And only the top 2 voted for the next round will enter the next arena as Player B and C respectively.
Other points to note?
The overall winner [after receiving the cash payout] of each weekend will be respectfully asked to skip the next round to allow for others to have more opportunities to participate in this.
There will be 3 rounds/sets (one every 2-3 weekends).
If anyone in the top 3 most voted should be unable to play due to last minute commitments, the opportunity will be given to the next most voted etc.

Reason: Change of date (time remains unchanged)
It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

Some highlights : *Rival played as Terran for games 1 and 2.
*Game 3 was ZvZ on King Sejong Station. Was pretty intense with burrowed roaches being the main abusive play and sick concaves from both sides at various engagements.
eCKo'ChanKim 3 - 1 [AscG] ProzeR
Some highlights : *ChanKim made a hatchery at Prozer's Natural in Game 1; ProzeR counters to punish this 4 hatch before pool play
*Game 3 on Nimbus; ChanKim's famous words : BUT I cant proxy hatch at your natural on Nimbus!
*Game 4 Some strong terran play from ChanKim. Not sure which is more scary.. his zerg or his terran.
