SYF GAMING is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the up and coming Protoss Jamie 'Ice' Beresford, as he adds on to our growing Protoss roster.
It's been hard to ignore the transformation Ice has gone through in the last year, a very fast rise in skill level through hard work, passion and drive to play amongst the best in the region. Showcasing his commitment through streaming, blogs and tournament upsets Ice has become a valued member of the community and we're happy to welcome him to our team.
Here is what Ice had to say upon jumping on board with us!
Quote:
" Ecstatic to be joining SYF GAMING. I hope in joining I'm able to increase my ability and start the push towards the next tier of players. I can't wait to meet my new teammates and get into practice mode with them all! "
I thought I'd sit down with the new recruit and have a small pick at his brain, so enjoy this small interview I had with SYF's newest member!
Well Ice tell us a little about yourself?
Hey, my name is Jamie I'm a 23 year old Protoss player from Adelaide. I play cricket, love the footy (AFL) and I'm currently a delivery driver
In the world of SC2, who is the player you look up to the most?
sOs for sure, also Has
If there was a player you dreamed to play against in a Bo7, who would it be?
sOs he's my idol and would love to pinch a few cheeky builds from him.
Awesome! And our last question, what are your current goals in SC2?
I want to get GM on KR, I also want to start having deep runs in Tournaments
Little surprised to see the move from x5 to SYF, as x5 seemed to offer great support, but if it's what you want, good stuff and best of luck!
Ice is currently the 2nd hardest working player in the region - 2nd in OSC participation with 19 tournaments played! Which if he keeps it up will see him pocket some nice $'s, and also be marketable for any team he's on, so good get for SYF!
