King Of SEA Nation Wars Week 4 Recap, Results and Replays
Week 4
Recap
Week 4 began with the Australia vs Vietnam match. Australia was intent on gaining all 4 points (the 3 league points for the win and 1 bonus point for a 4-0 victory) and so sent in a massively stacked lineup consisting of Leg, Filthy, sAint and GLaDe. It was not suprising Australia took home the victory 4-0 but it is suprising that zGGLeoz managed to take a map off ex pro-gamer Legionnaire, so he might be someone to look out for from Vietnam in the future. The other 3 games went 2-0 with poor Vietnam which definetly has a decent team, feeling the full wrath of the Aussies.
Indonesia vs Singapore was up next and the games were actually alot closer then the final score reflected. anavar beat indo team captain wakemeup 2-1, with some interesting base trades going on, while progrezzion managed to oust kottbullar 2-1 as well. OxygeN proved yet again that his third place finishing at the Blizz Invitational was no fluke and played his games with nice creativity, going for mass banshees in one game and dual academy ghost nukes in the other. Finally tendersteak won his games 2-0, giving Singapore a nice 4-0 win and the full 4 points this week. Well done Singapore!
The last match of the week was Thailand vs New Zealand. NZ super star Kowi won his games easily with some cute phoneix play and fellow top 16 blizzard invite AlwaysYou defeated hadez in some long and evenly fought matches. RedArchon as usual was on flawless form for his country, churning out another 2-0 victory. The final match was between MassMarine of NZ and Pandoramon of thailand and it was a nail biting one which went 2-1 to NZ. If Pando won the third game, the match would have gone to Ace and it would have been awesome to see a RedArchon Kowi Ace match! Anyway I speculated that Thailand would be very strong if RedArchon and Indy played every week because RedArchon the #1 in SEA atm will almost always give Thailand a point, and Indy might too, forcing the match to go into Ace, which Red would definetly play. Thailand however have been pretty unlucky with the scheduling as sometimes Red is missing and the others times its Indy who is not available.
