Seeing how close all the Week 1 match-ups looked before starting, I don't think there was any real surprises with the results. Similarly, I think how the race results turned out are pretty much expected at this point, which Zerg being the heavy winners across the board.
Iris kicked it off, beating ToT with a 3-1 Major Win and noticeably all 3 Zerg they sent out won. Similarly, the only set dropped was against a Zerg opponent (Alopex).
It was much the same with Flash beating Eve - Yekke (Zerg) the only Eve player to take a set off their Singaporean opponents. Drake would be the only non-Zerg to take a win, and the only Terran to beat a Zerg in Week one.
Avant.ToR took a close victory over DM, with the unknown quantity XzaM winning both his set and the ace match. It was quite a mixed set of races results, with 3 3 2, and neither race really having a leg up.
One of the big clashes of the week, xG vs iM, ended in a Major Victory for iM but watching the games it felt a lot closer. Myuu struggled to finish games against tgun who somehow managed to scrap a 2-1 together (this result ended up being crucial). delete was showing form, pushing Mafia hard but eventually lost 1-2 to the Zerg powerhouse. Light was the only non-Zerg to win his set, with his victory locking in the win for iM. The biggest surprise (for me anyway) was yang taking a game off KingKong, showing that he's got kick and could very well be a player to look out for in future weeks.
The last match was fray vs Nv, which everyone had split down the middle (actually I think it was tipped in fray's favour by many). It included the week's only TvT, which also accounted for 1/3 of the weeks Terran wins. With neither side fielded Protoss and each team having big Zerg names, it's no surprise that the match came down to a ZvZ ace match, which mOOnGLaDe took and claimed the Minor Win for his team.
I didn't get to see all the games (lack of streams, stream problems), so sorry if you feel neglected or my write-up isn't indicative of what happened.
Oh how a week can changes statistics. Both Terran and Protoss fair better against their Zerg opponents, also increasing their overall win percentage by a large margin. This week teams were again matched fairly equal in skill, and it shows with every match going to the ace decider. Zerg still had the upper hand for the most part, with 3 Zerg, 1 Protoss and 1 Terran winning the ace for their team.
Iris vs Flash was the first out of the ranks, however with Revenant being walked-over for not showing up, it gave Iris a free win to make things easier getting to the ace. Drake () was on form again, now 2-0 with a 4-0 map score. The same can be said with Crimson, with his ace win bumping him up to a whooping 3-0 and 6-1 map score. VenOsaur made his first appearance, but ran into the in-form Crimson and was quickly dispatched. With 2 wins in a row, Iris are sitting pretty at the top of the table.
Eve vs iM proved to be a closer match then I originally though it would be, with a key win from Maltiso over tgun allowing them to go to the ace. Yekke again was on form 2-0ing Sunder, before moving into the ace match to face Light. Both players were 2-0 (matches) and 4-0 (maps) going into the ace, but only one could claim victory, with Light coming out the other side now with a perfect 3-0 (matches) and 6-0 (maps). The victory puts Immunity at the top of the table with Iris, and looking like a tough team to beat.
ToT vs Avant.ToR saw the introduction of the Flash for ToT, which many were curious to see the form of (Fantasy League). Unfortunately for Flash (and a sigh of release for the Anti-teamers) he would lose both this set and the ace match. Another TvT this week came from DanO and the ToT sub Midas, but only one could win, with DanO actually going on to win the ace as well. This loss for ToT puts them in the lower half of the table, and even those they've had some close sets, they have some real work ahead of them to get back up the ranks.
xG vs Nv was arguable the biggest match of the week, and proved to have a lot of talking points. Let's get it on the table - delete beat mOOnGLaDe, something not many expected. delete has been playing very well -week 1 he only dropped 1-2 to another big Zerg name, Mafia. Without taking anything away from delete's win (watch out Zerg!), there were some external forces at play here, which is why Rossi himself would go on to ace for Nv. Rossi himself has been playing fantastic against Zerg lately (and is a fine choice for ace, as seen in previous team leagues), however KingKong would have his number, and a few brutals moments in the early game saw Rossi dropping to the monster that is KK. In the other sets of the match, deth would drop 0-2 again, however his series with KingKong were very close and were awesome games to watch. Both poker and JazBas had slow starts to the League, both losing their first week sets. JazBas would be victorious and get his first win on the table, whilst the previously in-form poker is back to the drawing board for next week. This was a very important win for xG who claimed no points in the first week, and with results like this could be moving up quickly.
In the final match of the week, fray took on DM in what would be another ace decided series. Like week 1, ProAnnn would again have mixed results after winning his set against Fourby in his first appearance, but then losing the ace. Polaris took a free walk-over an uncontactable Ninja, leaving her 2-0 (matches) and 4-1 (maps)! iaguz would get points against his name after taking down fellow Terran BlackStar. However it would be Petraeus who would steal the show, winning his set and the ace to take his team to victory, and leave him on a personal score of 3-0 (matches) and 6-1 (maps). This win puts fray mid-table and DM in the bottom half.
Yes I'm biased for Nv, don't hate me!
Like i said in the other thread, I created this to keep track of my own score.
I rushed through it, so if it's wrong don't get too upset.
I have plenty of stats in Google Docs, here is a sample below. <<< CLICK BELOW >>>
Just to help with some minor errors, Techtron is typo-d as 1/20. My map score should also be 6/1. Hope that's more helpful than annoying to point out. Thanks for doing this .
Updated week 2 with stats, review and fantasy league. Fantasy was crazy this week seeing as every match went to the ace, meaning there are a lot of +8 points going around for players (flux getting +34 this week for example is nuts).
As a side note, i honestly thing Fantasy is going to be a blow out. I think the lead going into the first trade period is going to be too large to catch up to, seeing as everyones teams should even out when they trade in better players. I think getting +8 for a player that wins their set and the ace is too high, considering a player that wins their set and loses the ace gets +1.

Okay for those picking me, thank you for your love but I can honestly tell you I'm nowhere close to that value at the moment. Appreciated but think otherwise if you want to win LOL.
You were saying?
Light so humble!
