The admins on TL do not tollerate any kind of stupidity, pure and simple. they clearly spell out the forum rules and why they apply. what chill said is exactly correct, why would you enter a thread specifically say that your not going to read any of it but heres what u think.
its like me coming into this thread going.
"im not going to read any of the responses but heres what i think
saying that line at the front is not needed and doesnt add anything to the discussion which is what you were being warned for. which is not unreasonable at all." - but if i read teh whole converstaion, by the time i had typed this many things have been discussed
BY saying that your not being part of the discussion, you said it yourself you couldnt be bothered, and you bring that to the main stage.
If you had simply given your experiences in regards to the OP you never would have gotten a warning. but you specifically stated your lack of interest which is why this happened
TL.net is the biggest Starcraft site outside of korea, and one of the main reason for that is the moderation of the forums.
Chill, was not getting up you, he was simply stating why you were warned.
TL also have on public view every forum ban and the reasoning behind it, it also has a ban appeal process so that admins cant abuse the system.

I'm gonna take sides with Unstable for what he said because it makes perfect sense. Similar to what HD posted earlier in the thread.
For the sole purpose of healthy discussion. the "i can't be bothered to read" stuff and the latest "what a load of crap" posts can be seen as non productive posts with no added value to readers.
Sure you're entitled to your opinion, but just look at it this way. A few of the admins here and notable names in SC2 have already stated their opinions, and majority of these are congruous. So have you considered that perhaps, just maybe perhaps, that the post could have been a little out of line.
besides, a warning isn't a ban. just take it in your stride and move on, there are much worse things in life to worry about, and much better things to spend your time on.
and the TL.net admins are a pretty hardcore bunch, they would probably have made some significant contribution before they were chosen. that being said, us as random posters on TL wouldn't stand a chance going up against them because at the end of the day if push comes to shove, i'm sure they'd protect their own and you'll probably stand to lose out more in the long run. they've already stated that in their rules post. I'm sure I saw it. so breathe, and live. don't get hung up on the small stuff

like I said. i think you're missing the point entirely.
I'm glad you feel this way about our site, but even our admins on this site respect TL.net a heckload and feel that they've done a ton of good for the community.
that being said, i'm gonna close the thread before it becomes too retarded.
