Rachel "Seltzer" Quirico will be hosting a live CSN show tomorrow to discuss the recent PPSL event.
Rossi and I have both been invited to speak on the show about our involvement with Gus Ledesma and SEA eSports in general.
If you'd like to tune in, just head over to Cyber-Sports.net at 12:30PM AEDT (Sydney/Melbourne time)!
In the meantime, I'd just like to mention how freaking awesome the guys at CSN are. I've been following them on Facebook since they popped up during the middle of last year and they do some tremendous work - providing exclusive interviews and stunning photos from all of the biggest eSports events around the world. They are also the ones who picked up the scraps of the PPSL and turned it into a brilliant event on Day 2, when they were only supposed to be there to provide coverage. Check them out and show them some love!
Also if you want to catch what Rossi and I had to say, you can find it here. You'll need to skip ahead to our interviews.
Dox: Skip ahead to 44:30
Rossi: Skip ahead to 1:01:40
Hope I won't miss this. Thought I missed the last SotG, but since it was postponed I didn't. Turned out it was so disappointingly vague and IncontroL wasnt there for the bashing =/
Keen to watch this - will be disappointed if you guys have the same attitude as 'State of the Game'. We all know what has happened - name and shame Gus for us!
Just an update - the interviews will still be recorded today, however the broadcast won't go live until tomorrow for a few reasons:
1) IGN's fundraising event for Amanda.
2) It seems Gus is late for his segment.
3) The internet connection CSN is using for production is a little shaky today, so they'd rather not do it live.

i still think the idea of a fundraising for amanda is not right. Budgets have been set aside for the event. So somebody has to take responsibility. Whether it is Gus or IGN, the money should come from THEM, and not the community.
As much as the community needs to show their support, it has to be done in the correct way. Does it mean that the community has to bail somebody out when shit like this happens again (obviously not)?
This is my personal opinion, so don't flame me. I think IGN has to foot the entire bill, i'm sure they have the resources. And then after that, they can take whatever legal action they can against Gus who obviously fucked everything up because of his greed and desire for fame.
i think gus overspent. even if all the sponsors money are pooled, it wont cover the cost which has incurred. ign has no obligation to foot the entire bill.

it's not about obligation. if ign chooses to partner with an organisation whose incompetence is so great that it results in the incarceration of an innocent person, the amount of negative PR IGN would receive from the community would greatly out-value the cost of footing the bill.
And the amount of good-publicity that IGN is receiving now for their efforts to help and remedy the situation puts them in very good light. Coupled with the fact that PPSL is seen as more of a stand-alone competition away from IPL, I will say that IGN has gained alot of popularity points. Oh and the fact that there is Gus to take all the blame =D
