I have been put into a lot of thoughts into this.. for our second Starcraft 2 tournament, it seems like collecting $5 from each participants (out of $15 entry fee) for a profit is not even that good money..
So Internet City will be doing a pizza run with the money we collected from participants! We will have a viewing room with a TV showing the live games until the finals. So it's a pretty good damn reason for you spectators/players to stay until the end for free pizzas and drinks!
Sounds good? Then come and watch - play and stay!
Also we will be putting 32 computers in total for players to play.. Therefore we may be able to put get more people to register and play.
Date: Saturday, 19th January 2013. The tournament will start at 10am. (Check in time: 9:30am)
Location: Internet City, Level 1/93 Albert St, Brisbane CBD
Entry fee: $15 ($10 will be put towards the prize pool)
There are no league restrictions, players of any skill can join. Spectating is free, of course. There will be a viewing room with a TV and players or a commentator will be commentating random games. The map pool will be: GSL Metropolis, Daybreak, Ohana, Cloud Kingdom, ESL Entombed Valley, GSL Whirlwind

Other information
Sponsors are welcome and will be very appreciated
Players will be allowed to bring their own equipment (mouse, mousepad, keyboard, headset etc). While some computers are more than capable of running SC2 with the highest settings, we recommend using medium options to prevent any unfortunate events.
There will be at least 24 PCs dedicated to running the tournament, players will need to report their results immediately to the counter once they are finished and they will be told to either pack up for someone else to use the PC or to stay to play another game. We are aiming for as little downtime as possible, so this is imperative to the smooth running of the tournament.
If you have any inquiries please post in this thread, email me at kyungjunim@gmail.com

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

It will be on 19th January. I am trying to decide map pool and all that sort of stuff. I want to make this tournament interesting so the map pool may include GSL maps and Kespa maps - not just ladder maps
