I will be moving to Hong Kong shortly, and I was wondering if there are players in the SEA community playing in Hong Kong. It would be nice to know some players that are already playing in Hong Kong.
Also, are there any esports event for university students or Hong Kong in general?
inF is the best player in Hong Kong, and Stitch is probably the only English caster. HT have a couple of Hong Kong members, you can check our roster at (TeamHT.net/roster.htm). OBeSiTY, Dante, Me, FrapzSPR (ex-member), jason, PandA, Bogus, Blazery and Fullstop are all HK players from HT. Most secondary school students play SC2 (ESF Schools like SIS and CDNIS) , but my friend from HKU (Hong Kong University) tells me that there are not too many StarCraft 2 Players, so I am not sure.
LOL I actually know OBeSiTY, played with him and his CIS friends quite a bit when i started out.
btw Shocker you know of any good internet cafes in HK? My friends and I usually go to Station 7 in CWB but I really ahet that place, get really tired after 3 hours and always leaving smelling of cigarettes T_T. We only go there cause it's pretty cheap (10 per hour I think).
I don't really know anyone except for iOne which is in CWB and WanChai. I believe if you go the the hong kong chat channel you will find people at iOne who can give you details about it. xetech is a GM who goes there almost daily.
There aren't a lot of tournaments in Hong Kong, there's usually a tournament once in a while, like every few months. Those tournaments are usually held in Tsuen Wan. As for the community itself, it's not that big, there are a few people like xetech that plays at i-ONE a lot. Other than that, you can find most of the other people in channel Hong Kong. 1 of the problem with the HK community is that people that bought the chinese version of the game had their accounts on the TW server and the people who bought the english version are on the SEA server. Most of the more active members of the community have access to both servers now though.
How many Hong Kong players are there in sea now? There hasn't been any post about that recently(about a year already...) Can Hong Kong players leave a post here? I wanna have a brief idea of how many Hong Kong people play starcraft 2. If you like to, leave your player id and gamecode, so that i can add you.

Not too many HK players these days which I find disappointing. The ones that are left seem to be in GM or Masters league. Unfortunately I am not one of them! I'm normally in the 'hong kong' channel too but at most there might be like 12 peeps in there.
Hello, I'm in Hong Kong for the next two weeks or so and I was wondering if anyone here plays SC2. I live near the i one net cafe in Causeway Bay and was hoping to practice.
