Checking the banter in chatbox between high school classes was great. Favourite memory will always be forming a new clan to play in the SEACL - that was good fun, and ended up creating a lot of long-lasting friendships.

What will make you actively use sc2sea again?

- Sc2 news being posted here (especially anything involving our region, or players from our region). Things used to be cross-posted from reddit/TL here a lot, and I'd always prefer to read it here and see comments & responses from our community on the topics.

- Active chatbox, though I know this is a bit hard with all the discord channels.

- Updated tournament information/streams/calendar etc.

I played Apex Legends for a while and get Predator/Masters a few times over but I don't really enjoy it anymore.

I play quite a lot of LoL, but I generally play lots of different games, stuff like DotA 2, CSGO, Apex Legends and so forth. Definitely don't plan on playing competitively ever, I've never been a top-tier talent at games!

No, I went to reinstall but didn't have enough hard drive space. I am installing SC:BW currently after watching some of the recent games Artosis was casting.

Nothing competitive, just for fun. I stopped CS:GO once it went free to play as it was full of hackers. I played Rust for a while and I wanted to play it more as it is still my favourite game, but since my PC died I have been using my wife's and Steam won't install any games for some reason. I mostly play D&D instead of video games.

I am 33 and working as a high school teacher (maths and science). I have two kids now, Dexter (5) and Saxon (3).

4. What is your best memory of sc2sea?
It was really nice to step away from all the business of the international SC2 scene and focus just on our own community and more on the friendships and people we meet at LAN rather than the ultra-competitive side of it. It was more of a community. The sense of community was real as there are still people 10+ years later that I talk to from here, such as LordByrnsy, Fadey, and spidereight who I played those D&D games with recently.

I enjoyed the clan events the most and the tournaments that were stratified to include the lower rankings.

There are some other memories of being a pain in everyone's arse too but I still feel grateful and touched that despite being an ass I still got the custom avatar and the interview on the Who's Who of SC2SEA.

5. What will make you actively use sc2sea again?
StarCraft 3 (or WarCraft 4), or something else that gets SC2 and its players (and especially clans) back into the local eSports scene. None of the modern competitive games really appeal to me that much, especially since I stopped CS:GO because of cheaters.

A regular amateur tourney for a small prize would be cool if it drew in a few local players as I would be interested to see how the scene is doing now all the big names moved on. Because of work and family commitments, though, I only have time to really get into one or two hobbies in a big way - not the same as when I was a student and had time for whatever I wanted. So to get back into it regularly it would have to be a pretty significant boost in activity and interest.

Like Stallion mentioned joining aLt and then xG were highlights. But the warm fuzzy feelings come from thinking about the community overall. It was smaller and more personal, it was positive, and people were really passionate about the game.

The next big RTS to succeed SC2 (by Frost Giant or Uncapped Games?). I'll be back here as soon as it's out.
