Zergtastic: This is the winners interview for the BSG #16, and heres the winner, holyforker. Holyforker, how does it feel to win, after competing in previous BSG events? holyforker: happy of course, to finally win the crown
Zergtastic: How did you prepare for the tournament?holyforker: I practised with my friends who were in gold/diam alot, got beaten alot but from those games I learn Zergtastic: So you felt that losing helped you in understanding how to beat certain strategies, or did it just push you to try harder? holyforker: It's not so much about losing, but knowing WHY i lost each game. E.g. bad strategy, bad micro, bad decisinomaking, bad macro, etc. Zergtastic: Were there any games that you played that you'd reccomend to watch the replay for? holyforker: The game against Darvan was pretty close I thought, and I believed he hadn't lost when he left, just shows yous houldn't give up so quickly even when shit happens (had DTs in his mineral lines ) I thought I defended the max rax cheese by deniable in th
e finals relatively well too
Zergtastic: You were coached by GGnoRe as a prize, how was the hour long session? Did it help your play much? holyforker: he gave me alot of small tips for my gameplay (mainly because i had alot of questions)
and pointed out my main problem which seems to be probe production
will be working on that and hopefully win the BSG cup
Zergtastic: One more question, so far its looking like the BSG cup will not be entirely based on trying to improve BSG players, but who has improved the much. Do you think the idea is a good one? holyforker: Of course, it's great that you guys are trying to include some prize money into the BSG tourney , even though it complicates matters for you all due to smurfs and all
makes us BSG players feel appreciated haha Zergtastic:
Are you Aussie or singaporean, or from elsewhere?holyforker: singaporean haha
Zergtastic:
Any last shoutouts? holyforker: there was some guy who wanted me to do a shoutout for
cant rem his name tho LOL. erm. ceylon? i really cant rem.
but for myself
shoutout to darvan
i think he's really good and should keep taking part
he can win!

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player of the semi-final and final match will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:
· All results must be PMed to Zergtastic.610 in-game.
· Players must be logged into SCII SEA region 15 minutes before their match-up. Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified and their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· Matches will be played as a Bo1 with the exception of the semi-finals and finals; which will be played as a Bo3.
· A replay-pack from the winner of the BSG must be sent to Zergtastic@yahoo.com.au.
· Winner of the BSG is required to send the replay pack within 5 days of winning the tournament or else his/her victory shall be deemed void.
· Spectators will be allowed, however permission must be granted by both players in the current match-up. Referees and casters will also be allowed to spectate.
· If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether; A) the game is to be replayed, or B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win.
· Any disputes will be handled by the BSG admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· If a person is suspected to be smurfing (high level players in BSG tourneys), the associated player's replay will be judged by several high level players to determine the associated player's authenticity, if found to be guilty of such treason!, the player shall be banned from further tournaments and SC2SEA. If Baka knows where you live, say goodbye to your cat/dog as well. I, Zergtastic, shall go to prison for his actions as a mate in the conspiracy.
·A previous winner of BSG Open is not allowed to participate in any future BSG tournament.
·There is no substitution allowed in between any part of the tournament.
-A bronze player who is considered to be platinum or higher ranked player by having really high level gameplay sense(i.e. Macro), is instantly disqualified on the grounds of smurfing. The player is allowed to dispute the claims of the BSG admins by showing prove that they are not smurfing. This will clear them from further future accusation of smurfing.
